Ingredients:

~midnight wishes for you to come back

~unfinished poetry

~and magnolia flowers in sidewalk cracks

~ light chlorine in breezy spring air

~soft ukulele strings

~ and vanilla locks of hair

~ 2 am breeze against your cheeks

~sleeping in empty swimming pools

~and misty clouds floating on rainy streets

~crying and gasping under thick covers

~feeling nothing at all

~heart bending and breaking from the lies of a lover
