Ever Lasting Hope (In Need of MAJOR Editing)

Chapter 13

Rain pattered on the ground as Me, Rosa, Cali, Rayden and Kylee trudged to the car. As we approached the car Cali shouted "I call the front"

"That means I'm stuck in the back with these two" I complained

Rayden rolled his eyes "Look just get in and lets get going, It's four hours to A.C.D.R Nature Reserve and the sooner we leaver the sooner we get there"

"True and it is starting to rain heavier" Cali sighed. Training me seems to have brought Rayden and Cali together. Rosa nodded and unlocked the car. We all squished in.

"So wht's the plan?" Kylee asked from beside me

"Well thanks to you we know that Bria is being held in a warehouse on the outskirts of the town. Rayden, Cali and Hope take the back and me and you take the front. That way we can cover more ground." Rosa explained.

Cali clapped her hands together "Sounds like a plan"

"I called a few others to help, They are bringing in Laser Guns just in case" Rosa said as the car pulled onto the road.

Though one thing crossed my mind "Do we need to kill?"

Rosa sighed "Unfortunately yes... they are going to try and kill us so... yes". I closed my eyed and blocked everyone out. Today I might have to take a life. I doubt I could do it. Life is too precious. I of all people know that. What if they had a family?

"Hope?" A male voice penetrated my thoughts

"What?" I replied opening my eyes to darkness. I reached out and grabbed some soft material. Looking up Vivid green eyes  stared down at me.

"I look forward to meeting you again!" Suddenly the figure was gone and I was left alone in peace.

"Hope? Wake up" I opened my heavy eyelids to find myself face to face with Kylee.

"What's up?" Even to me I sounded sleepy.

"We are here" She told me gently "You need to put on these robes" She handed me a pile of dark velvet material.

Slipping the soft material over my head I asked her "So where is Rayden and Cali?"

"Outside waiting for you" She replied the same type of material over her head. I nodded and exited the car. The bottom of the material fell to the ground covering my clothes.

"Attach this to your belt" Rosa Instructed me passing me a heavy metal gun. "Use it in emergency's, Follow Cali and Rayden... Off you go, good luck" I nodded and walked over to Cali and Rayden who were arguing. So much for being friendlier to each other.

"Look Ray..."

"Don't call me Ray!"

Cali sighed "Fine... Rayden... we were both assigned to protect Hope, we must band together"

"All i'm suggesting is that I go scout ahead" Rayden pleaded

"Rosa said we should go" I said stepping in

Cali nodded "Okay then" She turned to glare at Rayden "The actual warehouse is around the corner, Lets go"

I followed her down the road past quaint little cottages and a small park. Nobody was around as if they had all sensed something bad was going to happen.

Rayden ran to catch up with us "Put your hood up"

Cali nodded and reached up behind her head and pulled the velvet hood over her head making her eyes disappear. I swiftly followed. They led me down a small path lined with a tall hedge onto some empty car park. "What do we do now?" I whispered to Cali.
