The Dragon and the Princess

Chapter 5*

When they got to the guild, Mira jumped on the table, and said "Yay! We're all here. Ready for the announcement? Okay!" Everyone was quiet now, so they could all hear Mira. "We are going to have the first annual -drum roll please- Fairy Tail ball! It is mandatory! People that are not from Fairy tail can come, as long as they are going with someone from Fairy tail." She looked expectantly at Erza.

Everyone cheered and clapped. Lucy ran off to join Mira, Juvia, Levy, and Erza to plan dress shopping at the best dress store in town - best DRESSed. It was a cheesy name, but they had really good stuff.

Mira had a piece of paper in her hand. Knowing her, it was probably her bets on who would go with who, and she was probably right. By the end of the day, Alzack and Bisca were going together (no surprise), but the rest of the day was full of ball-related commotion. The girls went to the meeting room to discuss the dance and gossip about who would take who and what everyone would wear. The boys sat and ate. No surprise there. At the end of the day, Team Natsu plus Juvia went to Lucy's house for dinner.

"Gray-sama, will you please go to the dance with Juvia? It would make Juvia so happy!" Said Juvia.

"Um... Sure, I guess." was Gray's reply.

"Hey, Luce, what was on that piece of paper that Mira had?" Natsu asked.

"I'm honestly not quite sure. Erza, when did we decide that we are going dress shopping?" Lucy said.

"Tomorrow, I believe. We are going out to dinner first." Erza said to Lucy and Juvia. After they ate dinner at Lucy's house, Juvia and Erza decided that they were going to stay over at Lucy's. They made Natsu and Gray go home, and then realized they could also invite Wendy, Levy, and Mira. As soon and the six of them were all in Lucy's room, they started gossiping immediately.
