Raven's POV

I slightly turn my head to the right to see a gun next to my head pointing out the door towards Jonathan. I immediately relax once I realize that it was Keith's gun that made the clicking sound.

"And I'm here to make sure Raven is safe and unharmed. Now you have about thirty seconds to get to your  car and drive away." Keith slowly steps around me so that he's standing in front of Jonathan's view of me.

"And if I don't leave?" Jonathan says as he looks at me.

Keith lets out a low chuckle as he shakes his head.

"Just leave or it's not gonna be pretty." Keith flicks his gun out the door trying to hint that it's time for Jonathan to leave.

Jonathan lets out a small laugh before lowering his gun.

"This isn't over Raven. I'll come back, but I'll be sure he won't be there to protect you." Jonathan points at Keith before walking down the steps of my porch and to his car. He gets in the passenger seat and soon the car is driving down the road.

Keith takes a step back and closes the door before turning around to look at me.

Before he can say anything I turn around and walk to the stairs. I take a seat on the last step and bury my face into my hands.

I can't believe it. It hasn't even been two days and I've been threatened more than once. I don't know if I can deal with this. My life is hard enough as it is with my parents divorce and school, and now I have to deal with Jonathan. He's the scariest person that I know and even though Keith was able to protect me this time what about next time. What if Jonathan manages to get me alone. There is no way that I'm gonna be able to protect myself from him. He'll kill me without a second thought and he won't even show any remorse.

I can just imagine him going to my funeral saying a few words about how great of a person I was and comforting my family. Them not knowing that he's the reason that their daughter was murdered at such a young age and wasn't able to do something with her life.

I'm pulled out of my thoughts when I hear Keith's voice.

"What the hell were you thinking?" He asks as he crouched down in front of me with an angry expression. There is a look of disbelief in eyes.

I don't say anything I just shrug my shoulders and look down at my hands that are resting on my lap.

"Answer me!" He yells causing me to jump.

"I don't know. I just wasn't thinking." I whisper. "I didn't think that he would find out about me telling Harry the information so soon."

"Are you seriously that stupid? This is the Wolfs we're talking about. They know everything, hence the reason for me being here. I'm supposed to protect you, but I can't do that if you keep acting like your life is normal. It's not. You now have not one, but two gangs in your life. It's gonna get a lot more complicated than you think. Just do me a favor and think before you do something. I'm not always gonna be there to protect." While Keith is pleading with me I'm trying to absorb everything he's just said.

He's right. My life isn't going to be the same anymore. I have to think about every action I make, because if I don't it can come back and bite me in the ass.

I look Keith in his eyes before nodding my head.

"I'll be more careful. I promise." He gives me a genuine smile before wrapping his arms around me. I put my head in the crook of his neck before sighing.

"Can we go to the park? I could really go for a walk right now." I slowly pull out of the hug and look at Keith. He nods his head before giving me his hand to help me get up.
