Some people might wonder why Connor was the only one in O2L who didn't ride a penny board. He always said it was because he was unbalanced. But that isn't the real truth, this is.

May 16th, 2013 6:04 PM W.N Just so you know, this entire story is set in Connor's P.O.V

It was already past 6 and all I had done so far was sit on my bed with my computer, strolling through Tumblr and listening to music. I moved all the way to Los Angles for a reason, which isn't to sit inside all day and be lazy.

I had to go outside at some point, and my new apartment was only a half a mile away from the heart of the city. So I finally gave in to myself and grabbed my favorite penny board to go explore the city.

I was just approaching the main drag of LA, hoping that I would spot some good restaurants along the way, but I stopped my board and paused to look at the city. I had been in Los Angles for two days now, but I had yet to see the city at night, and I never realized how beautiful it was until now.

I had the perfect view of the colorful lights and tall buildings, I heard the honks and the loud voices of people, I could even smell some of the sweet scents coming from the restaurants. In that moment, I realized I made the right choice to give up everything and move to California.

It didn't take me long to start to come across crowds of people. It didn't really bother me, except one girl in particular caught my eye. She was slightly short, with amber hair mostly covered by her beanie, she was smiling and it seemed like she was truly happy, and her bright blue eyes seemed like they were ,in a way, sparkling.

She was also riding a penny board and ,fortunately, she was alone as well. I desperately wanted this girls attention and I didn't quite know why. All I knew was there was something different about her, something I liked. I think it was by the way she road. So carefree, so in the moment. I couldn't explain it, but I could already tell, I liked this girl - a lot.

After a few minutes in deep thought about how I was going to get this girls attention. I had complete forgotten about where I was going, and when I finally got out of the black hole of thought I was in, I realized that I'd been aimlessly penny boarding in the same direction for well over 30 minutes!

Luckily I had been doing it for so long, I could board without even thinking about it, but on the bad side of things, I now found myself on a road I had never heard of. Living in California for only two days meant I already didn't know the area. To make things even worse, I had also lost the girl. Now I was completely lost, and alone.

I put my foot on the ground to stop the penny board and walked around the corner and sat on some steps in an alley to think. I guess I could call Ricky and ask him to pick me up, but he went to a party with the other guys and I don't want to make him leave it for me.

So I decided to find my way to a restaurant or something and finally get some dinner, then hang out in a little while longer until I thought was a good time to call Ricky. But just as I started to get up, I looked in front of me and standing right there was the girl. The girl that I had been following for hours was right in front of me.

"Now before you say anything, I know how this might look but trust me, I wasn't stalking you. I was just seeing if you were lost because you definitely look like it." The girl explained.

"Well, Hi I guess and yes ,I admit ,I am lost, but first, can you explain why this entire time ,which was probably hours by the way, you were following me all the way here!?" I questioned.

"Well" she started, sitting down next to me. She was suprisingly friendly. "I was, I'm assuming, doing the exact same thing you were. Just penny boarding into town to have dinner, and next thing ya know I look behind me to see this very attractive guy-" She pauses to elbow me "That's you!" she informs me.
