Jennie POV
If glare could kill maybe I'm already dead because of Lisa's stare while I'm walking going in the living room of her penthouse where everyone is waiting.
She's sitting on the couch beside her grandfather while both my parents were sitting in front of them.
Everybody was silent when I was in the living room, It take's me almost half an hour before I finished fixing myself because I recalled what happened last night.
My eyes went again to Lisa and I noticed she's wearing a pair of denim shorts and spaghetti strap top. With her make up less face and bare feet, she doesn't look formidable at all. She looks fresh and light minus the frown on her forehead. She looks like an innocent kid last night while I'm like a concerned mother takig care of her sick kid.
I really have no idea what's happening and why in hell my parents are here at this early, and with Lisa's grandfather. What I only know is, they all caught us in an awkward situation. I think it's not really awkward when Lisa and me sleep at the same bed with only our underwears on because we are both girls... there's nothing wrong happened last night... well, except from "that chaste kiss" which I highly doubted if Lisa remembers. And I dont have any intention to tell her, it's just a kiss anyway. It doesn't mean anything at all.
But there's is one thing I forgot, the most important thing. Yes, Lisa is a girl but she's not like any other girl. She's a freakin' lesbian, with a capital L. And I'm very sure whoever saw us in that situation will think it in a wrong way, no matter how innocent we are about the situation.
Why I didn't put back our clothes when I lay down and closed my eyes? And why I didn't wake up early? It was just supposed to be a nap, but instead I slept soundly and comfortably in someone else bed! God, I'm such in a big mess!
"Sit down Jennie." Lisa's grandfather approached me as he noticed my presence. He motioned that sit beside her granddaughter, and I reluctantly obeyed him.
I've only seen Lisa's grandfather once during my eighteenth birthday celebration. He's one of my father's guest and he's fond of me back then. And I never imagine for one moment that I will see him again, in a different situation this time. Four years had passed and the old man looks the same, he still look dashing and I might say he's the male version of Lisa. He has a softer features because he always smile, opposite of Lisa who always have frown in her face.
I sat beside Lisa. I can feel her obvious animosity towards me which I really don't know why, considering that I took care of her last night. She should be thankful because I didn't leave her on that situation when I have a choice to leave.
"Jennie, you're parents and I already talked. And you're wedding will happen as soon as possible." Lisa's Grandpa said while looking at me.
I heard Lisa took a harsh breath but remained silent.
"What? I-I don't understand. Mom, Dad what's this?" My eyes flew to my parents. My confusion turns big time.
But before my parents could answered me, Lisa grandfather talked again.
"Jennie, we are a family with honor. I will not allowed that Lisa will not take responsibility on what happened."
"Wait, you're wrong. Nothing happened between me and your granddaughter." I quickly replied then turned to Lisa."Lisa, why don't you tell your grandfather what really happened last night?"
Except for sharp look, I did not get any answer from Lisa. So I went back to my parents to help.
"Mom, Dad, nothing really happened. Believe me. It's just that Lisa was sick yesterday she had a high fever, I help her because she doesn't want to go to hospital and after that I fell asleep beside her. But that's it. I promise nothing happened."
