"You're really good on your bow! What's your name?" A young man around his age asked, grinning widely.

He gasped and immediately hidden behind the large boulder of the rock near him, making the other surprised. "Eh? Why did you hide? Am I that scary?" He heard him ask.

"Wei Wuxian! Who are you talking to?" Jiang Cheng asked when he found Wei Wuxian.

"Ei. I saw a young master of the Wen Clan. He's good at using a bow!" Wei Wuxian answered.

"Hah! That clan has someone worthy?" Jiang Cheng scoffed. "Let's go. The tournament is about to start!" He told him and walked first.

Wei Wuxian smiled and turned to the large boulder where the person he saw earlier hid. "Shixiong. My name's Wei Ying, courtesy name Wei Wuxian. See you in the tournament!" He said and smiled brightly as he ran to follow Jiang Cheng.

"'Wei Wuxian'..." Wen Ning muttered as he come out of his hiding. "My name's Wen Ning. Courtesy name... Wen Qionglin." He said and grimaced. As expected, the other left. This is his problem always - shy.

He hoped they meet again.

He watched as Wei Wuxian left with Lan Wangji, his memory of his first meeting with Wei Wuxian flashed before his eyes. Before he could process it in his mind, he already told the guy his thought. But, even if he's take back his words, Wei Wuxian still would let him go with his nephew - Wen Yuan. He knew, Wei Wuxian thinks how to tell him he's not his servant and that he shouldn't follow him. But, he wants to. Not because he is grateful of him, and mostly not because he has nowhere to go to. But, it's because... he wanted to be Wei Wuxian's friend. Ever since he met him that day, until he helped him and his sister hide. Until he died and Wei Wuxian helped his sister and him revive from dead. Until... Wei Wuxian died. His deepest regret is letting Wei Wuxian die for a petty reason - the satisfaction of the cultivation world.

Like he thought, Wei Wuxian is great to be friends with.  Not a day he spent with him is a bore. But... he still let him die. And, he was controlled. Fortunately his master came back. And...

He turned to his nephew who's patiently waiting for him. He held his hand and they left. His master has now found his happiness. He is genuinely happy for him. His master deserves to be happy. Although he may hate to part with Wei Wuxian, but he doesn't want to impose on him longer. And... Wei Wuxian also wants for him to find his own happiness - which is now watch A-Yuan grow up.

Young master Wei... young master Lan. Thank you for raising A-Yuan. He thought, a real smile can be seen on his face. A thought flashed in his mind, the same thought as he watched the back of that brightly shining youth from his past.

May we see each other again.
