Glowing eyes (Wraith)

Damp, dark, dense—moisture everywhere—pitch black—composed room—that's all you could make out
You can't remember where you were or what had happened—but you could feel the blood
Spurring out of your side silently
It hurt but you felt numb—you were shaking—praying that anybody would pick you up and take you to safety—light—light-
You remember a light, bright and white in the shape of eyes—maybe those eyes would come
Oh, please come bright light you said over and over
Then a bang—a loud bang, it sounded like an explosive—maybe a gun or-
You were caught out of thought by glowing eyes staring down at you
It was them!
The bright eyes faded—you felt hands wrap around your back—you jump at the feel of touch—and the blood from your side
A voice so angelic and calm yet deceiving from worry, "i'm sorry, did I hurt you?"
'A little but no—it's okay,' you thought but couldn't say so you muffled a 'no'
You continued to be carried by this mysterious entity  through more darkness, sometimes the glow of the eyes would come back—all you could do was stare

Smooth—no silky—sheets were underneath you
Tightly wrapped bandages across your waist
And a warm hand by your shoulder

You open slowly to see a woman—black hair—nose ring—wearing black—asleep beside you, she looked at peace but still stressed

You remember now

You were fighting someone—you don't know how many people or if there were machines but someone at least—they overpowered you and shot you so you fell to the ground—your eyes were shut for so long you didn't realize that hours had gone by and all the lights went idle

The woman next to you—your friend—your love—known as "Wraith"

You met her when she infiltrated the lab you worked at—thankfully she spared you—you kept in touch with her

Maybe the people you were fighting found out you were giving information to her—maybe

You were watching the fluctuation's of her chest and eventually she stirred to consciousness

She smiled—it was beautiful

She leaned down and kissed you on the forehead

Joy, jittery, jocund

You were safe and in love—all thanks to those glowing eyes
