salisa sent her phone down beside her on the bed after she read brandons texts. she was sure that she didn't have feelings for brandon before, but hearing how considerate he was brought back good memories. she was in love with brandon. she met all his uncles and his aunts, his cousins, grandparents. everyone. they talked about starting a family later in life. she was sure he was her soulmate.
that was till she went on instagram on late night because, she couldn't fall asleep. usually when that happens brandon would come over or she'd call him but that night he couldn't because he was at the studio. putting in that work, staying up late at night making tracks with his 4 band mates. or at least that's what salisa thought. her heart dropped to her ass and her throat dried up when she open the social media app seeing the love of her life sexually with another female.
being young and in love salisa gave him another chance, she threatened him with leaving but he begged and pleaded so she forgave him and they moved pasted it. but little did she know, that "one night mistake" became a side chick. the boys knew about it but saw how hurt salisa was the first time and just couldn't bare to see their close friend in that kind of pain again. so they agreed to keep it to themselves. not realizing that doing that hurt her even more.
salisa found out and her heart shattered, she doubted everything, all her feelings, all her friendships. though brandon begged her to stay she left. she warned him but he didn't listen. brandon betraying her stung, but her friends doing it is what kicked her. but eventually after a long time of crying and staying in she went out, decided to move past it and she did when she met jamir. he made her forget how hurt she once was and for reason that she kept him around.
soon things with jamir turned serious and she found herself falling in love again, this time taking things extremely slow so she could avoid getting hurt again. she will never forget what brandon made her feel when he did what he did.
