The ‘Cross’ is a reminder to my heart,
That from His love, I should not depart.
His love is so very precious to me,
He removed sin’s stain, gave victory!
The ‘Cross’ is a reminder to my soul,
That He is always in full control.
He so died, that I might go to Heaven,
Out of love; what a GIFT He has given!
The ‘Cross’ is a reminder to my mind,
That such love as His, you simply can’t find!
He died on that ‘Cross’ in sheer agony,
To save us from Hell; from God’s wrath, we’re free!
The ‘Cross’ reminds me to always thank Him,
For all things He brings; whether bright or dim.
There’s a silver lining in all clouds He sends,
All our hurts and deep heartaches, He mends.
The ‘Cross’ reminds me of joy and peace,
These blessings from God give great release.
The comfort and warmth these things surely give,
Make me so happy that my Saviour lives!
The ‘Cross’ reminds me of ne’er failing love,
Pure, everlasting love; from God above!
Love so marvelous, He gave us His Son,
If you accept Him; salvation is won!
