Chapter 2: Sorry

The young boy nods and says with the happiest voice "Yes! Jack! Oh my Thor I've missed you so much! I didn't know where you went!" I wanted to be happy along with him, but before I can enjoy my happiness, I had to apologize. I stood at the window and I looked down as I said "Hiccup, I'm sorry. I didn't come back because I was afraid. I was scared that you were mad about me or you'd stop believing in me. I was scared that you would have forgotten about me. My, I wasn't thinking. I truly apologize and I hope you can forgive me." Hiccups smile faded and he slowly takes my hand, holding it softy and he lifts my chin. He looks into my eyes with a faint smile on his face as he says to me "It's okay, I've missed you too."

I tried not to tear up from happiness and all I could do is smile. I finally choked out the words, "May I come in?"

Hiccup fully opened his window and stepped aside, allowing me to come into his room. I jumped Into his room and looked around as he closed the window shut. Hiccup walks over to me, still being shorter than me as he smiles "So what have you been doing lately? Making Winter last as long as possible?" I chuckled a little and said "Of course I have! But I've also just been having snow fights with children, even though they can't see me. I also have a little fun myself, tricking people." I continued but with I more mellow voice, "What about you? What have you been doing?"

I saw hiccups cheek turn pink, he was blushing. He looked down at the ground and said "Oh just dragon training..." His voice turned quiet as he said "and thinking about you."
