Meeting Annabeth

Ella POV

I walk up to my little friend group when I notice Percy is staring at a picture. Rachel is looking over his shoulder.

"You look so dorky." Rachel teases. Percy did the mature thing and stuck out his tongue.

"Mature Percy mature." Rachel says laughing.

*In English *

Ella POV

I was in English staring at Percy. Okay I may have a crush on him. The phone rang and Mr.Blowfis stop the lesson.

"Hello?" He asked. I could hear someone reply and Mr.Blowfis motioned Percy up.

"Hello?" He asked.

"Gods ya I'll be there soon. Thanks for calling. Tell Annabeth I will be there in about ten minutes." He replied, running a hand thorough his hair, after he hung up, he turned to Mr.Blowfis

"Paul, Annabeth is sick I need to go pick her up from her school." He seemed really worried, probably just his sister or cousin. Paul hands him the keys, Percy grabs his stuff and leaves the school.

*After School*

I find Percy talking with Mark and Rachel. I walk up to them with James and Sydney following.

"Hey guys ready to go?" Percy asked. We nodded and followed him to his car.

"Are we still hanging at your place?" Rachel asked.

"Ya, we just need to keep it down. Annabeth is at my place." He replies.

"Your little girlfriend is at your place." Rachel teased, it was obvious he liked me. (ugh I hate people who are so full of themselves.)

"Shut up Rachel, I don't like her and she doesn't like me." He replied, blushing.

"Suuuurrrre." Rachel said sarcastically."

"Okay are you going to stand here all day teasing me or are we going to my place?"He asked.

Rachel nodded and we got into his car.

*At Percy's place *

Ella POV

When I walk in I see a figure laying on the couch, asleep. Percy flips on the light and kneels next to her.

"Wisegirl,"He said shaking her "I'm home." The figure sits up and I see a girl with blonde hair,startling gray eyes,she was pale and clammy. I was instantly jealous.

" Alright, I'll be in your room." She croaked, standing up,when Percy grab her arm.

"Stay here with my friends. Please Annabeth." He begged. She rolled her eyes and sat back down.

"Fine." She muttered before she starts coughing. Percy rubs her back until she stopped. We all sat down.

"Hey Annabeth."Rachel said. Annabeth just nodded and gave a slight wave.

"Hi I'm Sydney," Sydney started waving at the girl sitting next to Percy "This is Mark, Ella, my boyfriend James, and I guess you already know Rachel." She finished pointing at each person.

"Sydney, I wanted to do the introductions." Percy mock pouted but his sea green eyes shining with mischief. Annabeth rolled her eyes and slapped Percy upside his head.

"Shut up seaweed brain. Hi I'm Annabeth."She said her voice barely above a whisper, leaning her head on Percy's fore arm. He draped his arm around her whispering something in her ear, making her laugh. Would he do that for me if I was sick, probably he does like me after all.

"Can we just watch a movie or something." Annabeth muttered closing her eyes.

"Oh oh can it be Finding Nemo." Percy screamed with a smile. Annabeth grimaced.

"Shut up Seaweed brain. I have a huge headache." Annabeth croaked before coughing again.

"Sorry Wisegirl. But please Finding Nemo." Percy asked lowering his voice. Annabeth rolled her eyes and got up, going towards the kitchen.

"I'm going to make tea anyone want some." She asked politely. Mark and Rachel nodded.

"Okay, oh and Seaweed brain it can be Finding nemo or something I don't really care, I just want to rest."She replied.

*After Finding Nemo*

The way Annabeth and Percy moved, it wasn't like a sister and brother would act, more like two best friends who like each other. Needless to say I was jealous and I know Percy likes me. It was oblivious by how he looked at me. That's it I am going to get him to notice me more than Annabeth.
