"I'm losing her," he whispered.

The other six guys who were seating around him stopped doing what they were doing. Ikon had a day off, and they decided to have a guys night out in their apartment. But since that evening after Hanbin came back from a date with his girlfriend, he wasn't his usual self. Bobby and Jinhwan sat beside him. Yunhyeong turned off the stove, and came near the group so he could hear what's happening. Junhoe and Chanwoo who were playing PS paused the game, and Donghyuk closed his laptop.

"What's wrong, man?" Bobby asked him.

They waited for his answer.

---

She handed him an envelope. "What is this?" he asked as both of them were now seated in a cafe near the YG building. She said nothing as he quietly opened the envelope. His hands were shaking as he read the letter word by word.

"This..."

"Hanbin-a..." she called out to him—almost like a whisper. Hanbin's eyes were shaking, as well as his whole body. A tear slipped past her eyes, hands reaching out to his hands. When Hanbin felt her hands on his hands, his breathing became uneven and he felt as if his world is crumbling down. He quickly pulled back his hand and move beside her, hugging her as tight has he could.

"I've got cancer, don't you get it?" she pushed him lightly.

Hanbin doesn't let go of his embrace.

"I'm going to get bald. I'm going to be ugly. I'm going to die, don't you get it, Kim Hanbin?" she cried.

"We're going to face this together," he whispered, "I'm not letting you go, we're not breaking up if that's what you're trying to say."

---

"She was ready to leave. Ever since she told me that she's got cancer," he said, ruffling his hair. "She was ready, and I could feel her leaving already," he said in the end—

Before finally letting his pride down for crying in front of his mates.
