The crush

Since Thomas's birthday is so close to mine, we just started talking about birthdays and the labor it is putting a party together. Then it became more then that. It became me wanting to sit next to him after lunch on the patio and him constantly wanting to talk during class.

See, I made a bet with Veronica. We decided that if my bun stayed up for a whole month she'd have to ask out brad, and if it didn't then I would ask out Thomas. My heart sank, but it also pumped with joy at the same time. I was worried it would fall out and on the other hand I realized, I have two head bands and four hair ties in this thing... it's not coming out!

The whole thing draws back to Thomas, because he likes to pull on it like a joy stick and say "shift". My anxiety grew back again, if my crush keeps pulling on it, I would have to ask him out which would be totally awkward. So at lunch one day I explained why him and Kevin aren't allowed to do that anymore and that their reward is finding out who Veronica's crush is. They agreed but Thomas kept pulling away. I got a little frustrated, but then he did the most obvious gestures ever (in 7th period). My math teacher had me standup in front of the classroom to help teach the lesson. I was on a certain tile and ms.galvin told Thomas to stand where ever he wanted. Guess were he chose guess! (You'll just have to wait until the next chapter!)
