It all started in Cincinnati. Out of all places. That morning. Sometime in April. Spring break to be exact. That's when I woke up to the texts. The texts that changed everything.

The texts that ruined my life.

It was 7:35 when I woke up in that, dark, dingy hotel room. The pillow was on the ground, and I was half way off the bed. I quickly looked for my phone. I was texting Kaytee last night and I fell asleep. I went to the lock screen. Only 2 new messages from Kaytee, but 33 from Katie W and (956) 555-5267. I slid the glossy screen and was shocked by what I saw.

KW: Alright Tony, I think bailey should get these messages.

T: Hey Bailey, last night I texted Kaytee as a prank. I said my name was Tony and she went off on this whole tangent about how she knows a whole other Tony and how he's a douche bag. She was describing me. Is that really how I treat you?

The messages went on about how sorry he was about the way he never talked to me or how he was sorry. I texted back.

B:I had no idea you felt that way...

KW: Well this is great guys! You guys are up early! I'm going to sleep!

That was the end of that conversation. Let me give you the run down.

I've liked tony for about a year now. The reason, I know not. He's just some guy who go's to my church. He's not even cute. I seriously don't know why I like him. We've never had a real conversation, just like maybe twice. He probably thinks I'm weird. Everybody does. I end the conversation with a goodbye and a "I'll text you later" (which I never did. I wants gonna creep him out.) We were in the car, driving back to Michigan. I texted Kaytee.

B: You'll never believe what happened!

I sent her the screen shots.

K: Oh my God!!!! I can't believe that happened. This is awesome!!

We texted back and forth about how awesome this was. Kaytee was my best friend. We met in 6th grade and have been inseparable since. We were almost 9th graders now.

These texts might of seemed innocent, but they weren't. These were just the beginning 5 months of pain. This all true. I'm going to tell you this story. It's all or nothing.
