Hydras Secret Weapon

Chapter 1

You walk into your favorite coffee shop,

Java the Hutt,and you're greeted by your friend

behind the cashier, Jason. "Hey, (y/n)! Back for

more of that free Wi-Fi, I see." You laugh nervously

"Yeah." Its been a few months since you moved to NY.

Barely making it by, you go to coffee shops for free

Wi-Fi in order to stay in contact with your family back in CA.

You take your seat next to the bookshelf and take your laptop out of

your Legend of Zelda messenger bag and start going through all your emails.

*Ding Ding!* you hear the door bell ring, a customer walks in.

"Welcome!" Jason welcomes the customer. Its the same guy you've been seeing

for a few week here at the coffee shop. Seems like he's always there when you are.

He's kinda creepy, always wearing the same thing, hiding behind a baseball cap

wearing a black leather jacket and gloves even when its hot out.

He orders a coffee and takes a seat across the room from you.

You pay him no mind and continue with your emails.

you look at your watch and notice that two hours have passed by

like nothing; its even dark out! "Oops!" you say to yourself and

start getting your things ready. You look up and notice that the guy

in the baseball cap is looking at you intently. You blush and become self concious

and hurry to get your things into your bag and head for the door.

"Why was he looking at me like that?" you think to yourself.

"Later, Jason!" you yell out. "Bye, (y/n)" he answers back as you open

the door and leave the coffee shop.

You put your earphones on and start listening to one of your favorite songs

and sing along, "I see her in my dreams, wish that she wasnt there!" you skip a bit to the music

while you make your way to your apartment. Few blocks later you feel as if someone is following you. Its not the first time you've felt like this, its been years, you even took up martial arts because

of it and you always carry around a taser and pepper spray just in case. You walk a little faster

and turn back. You notice the guy from the coffee shop not far behind you, looking down with his

hands in his pockets. you feel something wrong at the pit of your stomach and start walking faster.

Soon you make it to your apartment building.

"Finally!" you sigh in relief and enter the building and go up to the 5th floor. You grab your bag and find your keys and open the door. You flick the lght switch and the lights dont turn on. "Oh c'mon!" you flick them over and over. "Theres no use in that." a voice comes from the couch. "Who's there? What are you doing in my apartment?" you demand as you take a fighting stance. "all will be revealed in due time. For now, you mus come with us." the shadow on the couch replies. "Us?..." you think to yourself. Just them figures come out of the shadows, heavily armed men walk toward

you. "No..." you whisper as you step back. You bump into something and turn quickly as you gasp.

You see a pair of big blue eyes looking down at you; its the guy from the coffee shop! He grabs you and pushes you behind him "Get out of here" he tells you as he walks toward the armed men and

starts taking off his cap and jacket to reveal his long dark brown hair and a metal arm with a red star on it.

"NO!!! Dont let her escape!" you hear the figure on the couch scream out. They begin to fight, the guy form the coffee shop and the armed men. Gun shots are heard. You start running toward the stairs

and youre stopped in your tracks by 3 men. They jump at you. You quickly kick one under the chin, punch the other in the face and kick the last in the stomach but despite your efforts they grab onto you and start tying your arms and legs. "Let me go!!!" you demand as you kick and scream. You hear a whisper and feel a sharp pain in your arm. You've been shot by a tranquilizer. Your eyes begin to get heavy. Just then the guy from the coffee shop grabs one of them men and throws him out the window down the hall. You're dropped on the floor as the men take out their guns and shoot at the man with a metal arm. He blocks the shotswith his arm and charges at the men and kicks one through the wall and knocks out the other with one punch.

He quickly picks you up and holds you in his arms. "Hold on" he says as he runs toward the

broken window and jumps out! He lands in a crouched possition with you in his arms and start running down the dark alley. He stops and sets you down once he knows you're both in the clear and takes the dart out of your arm. "Mmmm" you whimper softly. He takes a knife out and cuts the ropes around your arms and legs, setting you free. You try getting up but quickly loose your balance. He catches you and holds you close. You rest your head on his chest and hear his steady heart beat as you get sleepy. "Who are you?...." you whisper as you lose conciousness. He picks you up and carries you into the dark.
