did.

Tee jumped when he heard something hit his window, he tilted his head in confusion and stared at the place, waiting for another sound. He jumped again when he saw a rock hit it and with a frown he went over to his window and opened it.

"Tee!," Tee looked down and saw his P'Tae. His frown was immediately replaced with a soft smile once he saw the boy.

"What are you doing here, Phi?," Tee asked.

Tae placed his hands on the sides of his mouth for his voice to be heard, "Come with me!," He said.

"What?," The dark haired boy looked at the clock on his wall and furrowed his eyebrows before sticking his head out again. "But it's already ten in the evening."

"I'll make it quick, I promise," Tae said and gave his best reassuring smile. "Trust me," He added when he saw the uncertainty in the other boy's face.

It took about half a minute before Tee finally smiled and nodded. He put on his sweater, took his phone, and glanced at the mirror to quickly check his reflection. Once he was sure that everything was okay, he quietly went down and met Tae at the front porch.

"Took you long enough," was what the other boy greeted him with.

"Whatever, do you want me to come with you or not?," Tee said and crossed his arms over his chest, feigning annoyance.

"Phi was only kidding," Tae chuckled before taking the smaller boy's hand in his. "Come on."

Tae led the way and took Tee in a park that was near the sea.

"Woah," Tee breathed, his eyes twinkling as he observed his surroundings. "It's so beautiful here, P'Tae."

The taller boy watched Tee explore the park and play with the sand beneath his feet. The sight was so mesmerizing to him that he couldn't help smiling softly.

Tee looked back when he realized that Tae wasn't following him. "Come on, P'Choco! What are you waiting for?"

Tae's breath hitched at the sight of Tee below the moonlight. "He's so beautiful," He thought to himself as he watched the other giggle over silly things. He smiled to himself once again before going over to where Tee was.

There was a beat of silence before Te spoke, "First to get to the swings gets a piggyback ride home!"

Tae laughed to himself as he watched the shorter run towards the swingset. He counted to five before running after Tee and, as usual, Tae won.

"I can't believe yo-you still won," Tee complained between breaths. He had both hands on his knees as he tried to regain his breath. "This is so unfair," He added after a minute.

"Don't worry, I'll still give you a piggyback ride home," Tae said as he sat down on the swings, waiting for Tee to do the same.

After that, they let the silence consume them as they gazed at the sky.

"P'Tae khrub?," Tee spoke up after a moment of silence. "How'd you find this place? I've been by the sea before but I never saw this playground," He asked as he toed at the sand.

"I wander around whenever I want to think," Tae simply explained, never taking his eyes off of the sky.

"Care to elaborate?," Tee said after realizing that Tae wasn't going to explain any further.

Tae chuckled at this and looked at the other boy before explaining. "Mom and Dad were fighting that night. I didn't want to deal with it so, I snuck out of the house and I found this place," He said, shrugging his shoulders after.

Tee hummed and looked back at the sky, childishly naming the stars in his head as he goes.

"Tee?"

A hum of acknowledgement.

"You look really beautiful"

Tee felt a big grin form on his face and he didn't try to stop it. "Tonight?," He asked, almost teasingly.

"No. Always," Tae said, staring at the other boy with a face full of love and adoration.

It was now Tee's turn to make Tae smile. "P'Tae?"

"Yeah?"

"Okay"

Tae looked at the other with furrowed eyebrows. "Okay?," He asked, clearly confused.

"Okay," Tee affirmed with a big smile on his face.

"What do you me—," It was as if time stood still for a moment in Tae's world as he finally got what the other was saying. "Yo-you mean?," He said, asking for assurance.

"Yes," Tee replied with a big smile before standing up and walking towards the sea.

It didn't take long for Tae to follow.

Tee let his eyes wander around again while Tae never took his eyes off of him.

"Take a picture, it'll last longer," Tee joked and finally looked back at the other.

Tae was still staring at Tae. Tee stared back. Their eyes danced around each other's features, memorizing every structure that their eyes could reach.

It took awhile before Tae finally spoke. "Can Phi kiss Nong?," He said in a whisper, not knowing why he did.

Tae's question took Tee off guard that it took him a minute or two before responding. "It would be an honor to be kissed by someone like you," He replied, smiling softly. He meant it.

Without another word, Tae pulled Tee closer by the waist and placed his other hand on his cheek. "Thank you," he said before finally diving in to capture the other's lips in his own.

The kiss was slow. Slow and passionate. They didn't try to speed it up and just enjoyed the moment to slowly taste each other's lips and explore every corner of the other's mouth, memorizing every part that they could reach without hesitation.

They pulled apart for they needed to breathe. They panted heavily at each other's mouth, inhaling the breath of the other with every intake of air.

"That was—wow," Tee said after a moment of just looking into each other's eyes.

"I've been wanting to do that for so long," Tae admitted, giving Tee another light peck on the lips. "It's almost too good to be true," He added with a smile.

Tee chuckled lowly and gave Tae a quick tight hug before pulling away. "You owe me a piggyback ride," He said and jumped on Tae's back after.

Tae chuckled and proceeded to walk towards the direction of the other boy's house, with a feeling of joy blooming in his chest.
