BnHA Princess and the Pauper AU

Author's Note/Introduction (SKIP THIS PART IF U DON'T WANT TO BE SPOILED)

So this is a BnHA "Princess and the Pauper" AU inspired by meri chan's animatic. Take note that this is an Alternate Universe set in an era where women still wore dresses/gowns on a daily basis and men still had those ridiculously tall hats as a fashion statement, but still has the whole Quirks element.

Originally I wanted to do a Todoroki x Midoriya (because thank god for those two) and Iida x Uraraka couple like in meri chan's animatic but when I thought of it realistically, it's going to be pretty hard to cross dress Midoriya. Unless he's trap-like. Which he's not. Cinnamon roll-y, but not trap-y. Boi got dem buff muscles and abs. Also it's got to be virtually hard for a male who's undergoing puberty to have a feminine voice, and since this story's got a whole lot of singing... well, the switcheroo's probably gonna be figured out faster than you could say, "Plus Ultra!" and since I'm planning the characters to be around the age of seventeen to eighteen... well, all the more reason why I had to throw the TodoDeku idea out the window (It's sad, I know, those two compliment each other so well).

Plus I wanted to add in some historically realistic elements, such as gay love being this humongous crime deserving of execution (I know same sex relationship is a sin in some religions and some cultures find it immoral and disgusting, but seriously, you don't need to kill them for it) which virtually makes it impossible for male to male relationships (well maybe not impossible, but it's still got to be hard to have a secret relationship. I mean, look at Romeo and Juliet, and they were straight.)

And this was the reason why the KiriBaku idea was also flushed down the drain.

So I switched the ship to KiriMina.

It's cool, I support that ship just fine.

But seriously.

KIRIBAKU.

Still, that doesn't mean I didn't like meri chan's animatic. I don't really have anything against gay people—as long as they aren't rude and have horrible attitudes but, hey, even straight people could be rude and horrible so it's a general thing; everyone's basically human. I'll have you know that I watched it again and again and now I want to memorize "If You Love Me For Me".

Also Deku made a really cute girl. And I'm not going to deny that I fangirled when Todoroki sung (ok it's not really him but Prince Derick's voice fit him surprisingly well.)

I laughed at Iida's part in "To Be A Princess" because Julian's personality and his fit so well together lol. Mr. Ever-the-Prim-and-Proper smartasses XD.

Also I've been really, really into Bakugou x Uraraka lately and I haven't done a fic of them yet so I decided to use this as an opportunity lol.
