Growing up in the spotlight

Ice cream

"Time for school y/n" your dad says walking into your room.
"But I don't want to get up dad!" You say throwing your pillow over your head.
"Look if I could I'd let you stay home but school it is sweetie" he reply's
You get out of bed and walk into the kitchen. Your dad (zac Efron) had made you a smoothie that had strawberry's and bananas in. You bring it up the stairs with you and start to get ready.

You are now in the car with your dad
"I was wondering whether you wanted to come with me when I shoot baywatch" you dad says out of the blue.
"Yeah sure but what about school?" You say confused.
"We can get you time off school and I'll home school you!" He says
You just nod.
The car stops and you get out.
"Love you y/n!" Zac says.
"Love you too" you reply

You walk into school and go to your home room. You see your best friends Gracie and alysha. You go and sit down with them.
"Guys I leave in 2 days I'm going away with my dad he has to shoot a movie"
You say quickly.
"Really I will miss you so much you have to FaceTime me all the time, no you can't leave I'll miss you way too much!" Gracie says.
"Yeah without you there is no friendship goals!" Alysha joins in.
"Yeah I'm only going for like a month though I don't want to stay away for more than that I'll come back before my dad does" you say hoping your dad will let you do that.

You get into your dads car and he starts driving. You look a bit uncomfortable and you don't want to talk to your dad.
"What's wrong baby, have you had a bad day at school ?" He says sympathetically.
"No I'm fine just not feeling too well" you say fake smiling.
"Aw no, well then we will have to stop at the store and get ice cream!" He says trying to make you feel better.
"Haha okay dad but we don't have to" you say.
He pulls over and stairs at you.
"Look at me y/n" He says.
You just keep looking down.
"What's wrong just tell me you know you can tell me anything baby girl" He says.
You immediately start crying.
"I just don't feel my self lately and since mom left us all those years ago I've felt empty" you cry even more.
You dad just holds your hand and says everything will be okay.
You both get out the car and walk into the store. There's paparazzi everywhere.
"Oh god hold my hand and don't let go" you sad says annoyed.
You nod and eventually get to the ice cream section.
"Which one do you want?" You dad asks.
"Cookie doe please !" You say happily.
You dad just laughs at you.
"I love you so much y/n always tell me when you upset" you dad says hugging you and kissing the top of your head.
You smile and hug him tight.
