Her choked cries kept making their way out of her hoarse throat. Her skin stinging, burning with pain. She just couldn't seem to understand why, why? Why her? She's been through enough, she really has. She took one fast, painful, worried look in the broken mirror. Is this really what she had turned into? Fresh, hot tears started streaming down her face the second she replayed the night's events in her head. She couldn't help punching the mirror once more, grabbing the sharpest piece of glass that she could see with her blurred vision. She traced the shard of glass onto her open skin, feeling it burn again. Nothing could make her feel sane again. Nothing could make her feel the way he did. Nothing could ever break her the way he broke her. That was indisputable.
