"You ready to go? I gotta be at work in 20 minutes."My dad says. "I'm on my way, dad. Just putting my left sneaker on." I say.
I walk down the stairs and into the kitchen. I grab a granola bar and my backpack. "Alright dad. I'm ready!" I shout to my dad.
My dad and I head out to the car. "I'm really nervous dad. What if no one likes me?" I say, worried. "Hun, what is there not to like about you? You are a very pretty, sweet, talented girl." My dad says.

*10 minutes later*
I walk into the school and am immediately calmed down. My anxiety disappears.
I head to my locker. It has my schedule in it and my gym locker combo. Great, gym. Hopefully it's different. I hope there's a girls class and a boys class. Separated though.
I grab my books and head to my first period. Wow, there are a lot of people in this class.
"Alright class! We have a new student! Zhavia do you mind standing up?" The teacher Ms.Garcia says. I stand up, very slowly. "Hi..." I say shyly. "No need to be shy little girl." Someone behind me says. People start giggling so I sit down. "Hey! You all know we do not stand for bullying. So whoever made that remark, please make your way to the office. I will be calling the office letting them know you are coming and why." Ms. Garcia says, seeming mad. Well, at least they don't put up with bullying. A young, cute boy stands up. "Mr. Yorba!? I've never heard such a rude remark come out of your mouth." Ms. Garcia says surprised.
After the guy walks out of the classroom, Ms. Garcia continues class. She starts with Science then ends with History. Guess she teaches two classes. People start getting up after she finishes her last lesson. "Ms. Ward?" Someone says in the hallway. It was the guy who got in trouble. "Um... yeah?" I say. I try not to make eye contact. "Look, I'm sorry I made that remark. I was really rude and I didn't realize it would hurt someone." He says, looking down. He seemed sincere.
