Just One Yesterday - Fall Out Boy // Last Night (New Version) - Breathe Carolina

"Rachel, wake up. It's 6 o'clock."

I looked at my doorway to no one other than Hazel, telling me to get up. She sounded annoyed.

I sat up, "What's it matter?"

She rolled her eyes. "At least you're awake."

I shrugged. "Today was your last day of work this week, right?"

"Yeah."

"Let's go on a trip."

"Where to?" she asked.

"To Sin City." I smirked.

"That's, like, forever away."

I shrugged, "We have three days if we leave today."

"Well let's get ready to go, then!" She said, and went out the room, heading for her car. "I'll be back in a little bit. I'll text you before I leave my house."

I got up and threw some stuff in a suitcase, including hair brush and toothpaste. I'll wash my hair when we get back. With my packing done, I had to make my bed and clean the table off from this morning.

Hazel be there soon.

I smiled and went to my room to grab my sunglasses and a CD I burned for our roadtrips. There were 3 of them that were long, and I brought those. I also grabbed my lanyard with my keys to my car, mailbox, and house.

Then, my phone rang. Luke.

"You're going to Vegas!? Tonight?" He asked. I mhmed and he went on. "You aren't taking me?"

"Nope. Sorry, us two only!" I hung up.

"You got your stuff ready?" Hazel walked in the door. I nodded and we put our stuff in my car, since I knew how to get there fairly well. We sat in the car and I rolled the top and windows down, smiling.

"WOOOO!" We shouted out the windows as we got on the freeway, the sun still in the sky, but on it's way down. Sure, it's 6:30. But I've never felt more lively than at night; the city lights, rushing traffic, life. It's great.

"Pull over."

"Huh?" I turned down the music. "Why?"

"I need to pee," she said.

I pulled over to the side of the road and handed her toilet paper. "Go, then."

She sighed and went to go pee. "Thanks. I was starting to nearly piss myself. I checked for gas stations but the closest one wasn't for 20 miles, fuck that."

I smirked and got back on the road.

We got to Vegas around 10:20. Well, the 5 miles til sign. But you could still see the lit up city in the distance, it was gorgeous.

"Take a picture." I said, unlocking my phone and handing it to her.

She took it and snapped a picture and went back on her phone again. She's been on it alot the last 30 minutes.

"What's keeping you on your phone so much?" I asked, curious.

"I'm texting Luke, he wants to facetime but I don't want to. I told him to go to bed because he's tired but he won't back down and wants me to tell him when we get here at least. Where are we even going to stay, anyways?"

I shook my head, "A place. My friend will hook us up. She's a real estate. So it's technically hers to open and close."

"Have you talked to her?" Hazel asked.
