Gaga let out a deep breath as her driver pulled up outside the red carpet. The Oscars. Tonight was a big night. Possibly the biggest night of her career. With 9 nominations for the movie, 2 being hers. Of course she was excited, overwhelmed but with what's been going on recently in her personal like.. she couldn't help but feel nervous.

It's her first public appearance after confirming her broken engagement. The decision to split was of course sad, but she couldn't help but feel relieved. Gaga wasn't the kind of woman who adored a man following her around, she liked space, and over time Christian, once a man she loved, became just a burden. Even though she didn't have the heart to admit that to herself. But there was no bad blood.

It's just she knows how invasive carpet interviews can be sometimes. So she hoped the focus would be on the movie not her personal life. Either way the excitement outweighed the worry and nerves.

Bradley brought Irina and his mother. All already walking the carpet. But all he could think about was where Stefani, as he calls her, was. He knew she had a pretty tough few weeks, and he couldn't help but feel slight guilt at the fact he was quite annoyed that he had Irina on his arm tonight. He was looking forward to getting to spend time with Stefani. And he's well aware of the fact Irina isn't a fan of their friendship, and that always makes situations like tonight awkward.

Gaga stepped out of the car. Smiling. She was rocking a black Alexander McQueen dress, with matching black elbow length gloves. Subtle, yet captivating makeup, and a stunning up do. Not to mention the Tiffany's diamonds, worth thirty million dollars around her neck and dangling from her ears. She looked stunning.

She made her way down the carpet doing little interviews here and there. No one bringing up anything she didn't want brought up. Stopping to get hundreds of photos taken. She eventually found her way into the hall. Spotting Bradley.

She felt disappointed to see Irina there. It's not that she didn't like her, it's just that she's aware Irina clearly doesn't like her, and it's uncomfortable.

Bradley isn't himself around her, at least not the Bradley that Stefani knows. Gaga wasn't stupid either, she knew there was some kind of resentment or anger there because of all the hysteria around Gaga and Bradley.. specifically because of their chemistry, and she gets that must be annoying to see your boyfriend and his co-star go through that.

It didn't help that the media have been sparking up rumours and news all week. Dating rumours. She laughed. The world really believed Bradley and her were dating.

The thought wasn't crazy. Of course she thought about him in maybe a little bit more than a friend way a few times. But who wouldn't, she told herself. He was an attractive, kind man. She was just appreciating that. At least that's what she told herself.

But wow he looked good tonight. She thought immediately when she saw him. He spotted her, baring a huge grin and cute wave as he made his way over to her.

"Stefani oh my god, you look incredible!" He said taking her in for a hug.

"So do you oh my god this is so exciting.." she laughed hugging him tighter. He took another look at her. Ignoring the fact his heart jumped when he took her in.

Bradley would be lying if he said he wasn't attracted to Stefani. She was beautiful, and he always found himself admiring her. Tonight was no different.

"What?" She laughed, as he just looked at her. His hand, still in hers.

"It's just like everyone was talking about how good you looked on the carpet, but I didn't expect you to look this amazing." He said quieter this time. She was a little speechless.
