betrayed.
empty.
kuroko never felt so stupid in his life.
akashi, the akashi seijuro. the charming redhead who was kuroko's knight in shining armor ever since they were little.
was the mastermind to kise's suicide?
kuroko didn't try to hold back his tears, and let it fall to the ground, he was too numb and shaken up to even notice that he was already enveloped in aomine's arms. the comfort felt exactly like the one at the graveyard a few days back.
aomine rarely comforts but when he does, it sure does make people feel safe and warm.
they stayed like this for a few minutes, until kuroko's breaths became consistent again. aomine watched as he reached across the grass and took one of the photos in his hand.
it looked so real, yet it was really fake. there were worse photos than this specific one, but that was just all fucked up. why would akashi do such a thing?
"testu."
"hm?"
"...do you think that akashi is the blood red charmer now?"
kuroko sat silent for a few seconds and let out a defeated sigh, followed by a nod. "b-but how are we going to really find out?"
"I already got a plan," aomine smirked yet it faltered the next second, "but you have to be involved."
"huh, why is that so aomine-kun?"
"our bait."
________
kuroko mentally counted to a hundred in his head, ignoring the sweat that was rolling down his forehead. aomine was holding his shoulders which were tensed up, the officer blinked at kuroko with a deadpan expression.
"you're clearly scared. I said you don't have to do this."
"i-im not! but I feel like I should do this, for the children I teach, I don't want them to be affected badly by this!"
