Chapter 1

Elizabeth's P.O.V

As I awake the sun hits my eyes that's coming through my window, blinding me. I give a small yawn looking at the clock to see that it's 7:00am, but that's when the pounding on my door started.

"Get your ass up before father comes up here!" My older sister Veronica said just like every morning. So I did as told and got out of bed grabbing a large black hoodie why a black tank top underneath and some blue jeans putting them on, then I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth plus hair. This was most of my mornings, I grabbed my bag and ran downstairs out the door before anything could happen plus I wasn't that hungry. Gelda my best friend was waiting for me since we live on the same street and always walk to school together.

"Hey are you ready?" She asked looking towards me, a hint of nervousness in her voice but I felt the same.

"Yep I can't wait just promise not to leave me" I said which made her laugh.

"Silly I would never leave you, your my best friend, now let's go" We started walking to school, but when we got to school we got some weird looks. Me and gelda are loners but I'm fine with that since I'm really shy. When we got into class we sat down and at back next to the window. Soon everyone else came in but there was this big group and one of them I couldn't take my eyes off of. He was a little taller than I was but his golden blonde hair struck me and his gorgeous emerald green eyes were filled with many emotions. I couldn't help but stare as I got lost in his eyes. He looked at me with a smile making me blush as I quickly turned my head away.

"Ellie, earth to Ellie. You okay?" Gelda said shaking me a little bit as I now noticed that she was looking at me with a worried face.

"What, Oh yah, sry." I whispered quietly not wanting to draw attention to myself as I blushed a little filling with my sleeve which was a habit I had when I got nervous.

"We're you starring at that guy over there?" She asked with a small smirk on her face making me blush and nod my head. She giggled a little at my embarrassment but then the door opened letting a teacher walk in.

"Hello class I'm sir,Helgrum. Let's do some introductions. Well start with you" he pointed to a guy with pink hair and glasses.

"I'm Gowther." He said. Then the next person went.

"Yo I'm ban~"

"Hey I'm diane"

"Hi I'm merlin"

"Hello I'm Elaine"( screw Escanor I like Elaine better. So I put her in. If you don't like it leave.)

"Hiya I'm king" Then The boy I was starring at earlier went.

"Yo was up I'm meliodas." Then more people went until it came to gelda.

"Hello I'm Gelda" she said somewhat quiet as she grabbed my hand also being nervous just like me. Now I had to go as everyone looked at me.

"H-hi I'm E-Elizabeth." I said quietly with a stutter not knowing if people could here me but I squeezed Geldas hand trying to calm myself down.

"Ha, look who's shy as ever? You need H-Help?" A guy two rows up from us said looking at me, his eyes wandering all over making me blush and look down.

"Howzer just shut the fuck up!" Meliodas said making me look up to see him looking at me which made me blush and look away again.

"It's okay. Well deal with this." Gelda whispered in my ear giving my hand a squeeze helping me calm down as I nodded still looking down at my lap.

"Okay class lets get started." The teacher said then started his lesson. He just talked about the school the whole time, Until the bell rang. Me and Gelda got up and walked out until I got shoved my someone falling to the ground my head bashing the floor. I reached my hand to where I got hit to feel a warm liquid, I then brought my hand back to see blood.

"Watch where your going loser." This girl with spiky blonde hair and a demons 'darkness' covering her 'parts' but other than that no clothes said.

"Derari, stop being so nice to her, let's ruff her up a bit." a tall guy with red armour yelled at the girl. I saw that he was holding Gelda as she was trying to break free of his grip.

"Let her go!" I yelled. They all looked at me and the girl named Derari started to kick me in the stomach which really hurt as I already had bruises there from my dad. I felt helpless just laying there getting hit but I didn't know what else to do.

"Shut up you loser your a freak, a monster, a cutter. Your ugly and stupid." She yelled kicking me again, but I didn't understand why she was hurting us, we just came to the school but I just wanted her to stop.

"Derieri, Galand get away from them!" It was meliodas from earlier with the rest of that group, but why were they here.

"And what if we don't, trader!" Galand taunted with a sly smirk on his face holding Geldas arms tighter getting her to yelp.

"Than the sins and I are gonna show you what's happens when you get us mad!"he yelled a darker aura coming off of him. Once Gelda broke free from his grip she ran over to me hugging me in a protective way as these two girls came over to us.

"Are you okay?" A girl with brown hair in pigtails asked as I stayed silent and so did Gelda all she did was hug me tightly.

"Diane, Elaine is she okay?" Meliodas asked as I looked up to see him standing there and I felt Gelda hug me tighter.

"Gelda it's okay I'm fine" she let go but was still really close, I could tell that she was scared for someone hurt me and her again, but I was scared for her mostly.

"I know but I'm just worried for you" she said standing up so I tried to stand up as well but I ended up falling back down due to the immense pain in my stomach, before I could hit the ground I was caught.

"Hey maybe we should take you to the nurses office." Meliodas said being the one who caught me and picked me up bridle style which made me blush but then everything went black as I passed out. When I woke up I was in a hospital bed and it looked like a nurses office. Gelda and I think her name was diane we're talking we'll Meliodas was at the edge of the bed. There were people who I didn't know, the people from my class, I think meilodas called them the sins. As I then tried to sit up it hurt my stomach to do so, But I was pushed back down by Gelda.

"Thank goddesses your awake I was worried" Gelda said looking at me worried.

"Woah take it easy" meliodas said as he smiled at me so I gave a small smile back some blush on my face.

"how are you feeling?" Diane asked with some concern but I was wondering why they were here and worried.

"I'm okay" I put a fake smile on so that they won't know I really didn't want to add them into my problems. Then I realized something I wasn't wearing my hoodie anymore just the shirt I had on underneath, which made me panic, luckily my arms were under the blankets but Gelda noticed.

"It's okay they didn't see" she whispered smiling at me making me sigh in relief that they didn't see.

" hey do you need help to take her home?" Meliodas asked.

"N-No I don't need to go home I'm f-fine" I blurted out and they all looked at me in confusion. I looked at Gelda and she sighed as she understood right away.

"Yeah can you help me take her to my house." Gelda said it a calm voice as I didn't want them to help us I didn't want to be a burden.

(Time skip)

We made it to Geldas house I was going to spend the night,if my father and sisters saw me like this they would kill me. Meliodas was really sweet and kind he wanted to make sure I was safe, but I don't know but I felt safe around him.

Was I falling for him.....No I'm probably just happy that someone else actually cares for me.
