~Natsuki's POV~

I woke up to the sound of pure Hell coming from my bedside table. I stretched my arm over to turn off my alarm clock, but my arm stopped midway. "F***". I had forgotten to clean up  the glass stuck in my arm. The wounds wouldn't let me move my arm any further. Getting up to turn off the alarm instead, I made it quick so as not to wake father. What a silly thing it would be to wake up this early and still have him catch me. Before putting on my uniform, I picked the chunks of broken beer bottle out of my skin. Wrapping bandages around the wounds, I picked up the pace. It took me two minutes to put on my uniform, and one to find a clean pair of socks and put them on my feet along with shoes. I checked my clock: 4:45. I still had time. Rushing downstairs, I grabbed a thermos of milk I had left out overnight to help me look over the starvation. Chugging it, I ran out the door just as the clock struck 4:50. Father would be waking up. Running away from the house, I felt my head start to get light. I stumbled into the alleyway, just like I did every morning. 'Don't pass out, don't pass out'. After a couple minutes, my conscience was clear. I walked back out of the alley and kept walking to school.

*Lazy time skip*

Walking through the school doors, I spotted all the usuals. The nerds, the jocks, the geeks, the theater kids. "HEEEEEEELLLLLOOOOOO DOKI DOKI HIGH!" (roll with it). I sighed, already knowing what was going to happen. On a podium, in the middle of the school's entrance hall, was Monika. Oh-So-Perfect-Talented, beautiful, Monika. "NOW, EVERYBODY KNOWS ABOUT THE SCHOOL FESTIVAL IN TWO WEEKS, RIGHT?" said Monika, still shouting. Because why not? Not like anyone is tired of hearing her soprano voice. I ran out of the hall, on my way to my first class.

(Here is first chapter. Be impressed, be very impressed.)
