Saga of Harmony Shan

Chapter Three

"Are you ready?" I ask Briar as she climbs out her window. "As I'll ever be," she said nervously " see the ladder? Will you push it up against the house so I can get down please?"

"Yeah." I said quickly doing what she asked. She quickly got down the ladder and we put back on the ground. "Got the tickets?" Briar asked. "Yes, I do." I said excitedly producing two tickets.

We ran away from her house quickly before we were caught. We ran down the street to the edge of town and followed the old, never used, dirt road. We walked at a fast pace and about a kilometer or two down the road we started to see a big red and white striped tent. It looked small from where we were, but we knew it wasn't.

We ran until we reached the tent. we stopped, exhausted and panting. All of a sudden a man with two heads appeared. "Water ladies?" he asked with both heads. we looked at each other than back at him. "Don't be scared, it is alright I mean no harm. I am the leader of this show and you two look very exhausted." he said simply, "My name is Cormac Limbs." "Hello Cormac, I am Harmony Shan, and this is my friend Briar Allen. We would love some water." I said firmly as Briar quivered behind me.

"A Shan you say?" he asked curiously, "Come with me, I have somebody you might want to meet." "Who?" I asked. "Somebody, follow me." "We don't have backstage tickets." I said. "No need." he said. "Are you sure about this?" Briar asked. "I'm certain." I smiled back.

We followed Cormac and he lead us to a van, he knocked loudly. "Who is it?" a male voice called from inside. "Cormac, I have somebody I think you want to meet." he said. "Cormac, if this is another prank I'm not in the mood." he said firmly. "Seriously, get out here!" Cormac said urgently. Sensing the urgency in his voice the man opened the door. He took one look at us and let us in.

"Who is this?" he asked Cormac gesturing toward me and Briar. "They-" he started. "I am Harmony Shan and this is my friend, Briar Allen." I said proudly. "Shan?" he asked curiously, "Harmony. Harmony Shan?!" he exclaimed. "Yes that's me." I said getting irritable that I didn't know what was going on. "Is your mum's name Eliza Shan?" he asked. "Depends on who's asking." I sniffed. "It is me, Darius Shan, your father." he said. Briar stared at me as I gawped at him. "Is this some kind of crude joke?!" I roared. "No, Harmony it is me." he said. I stared at him.
