y/n's pov
i woke up with the sun hitting my face as i roll out of bed..you might be wondering..why does this story start on a tuesday and not a monday..well it's been raining a lot recently in la meaning possible flooding, so my school county decided no school on monday so that the roads would clear.
which i was definitely a fan of..
anyways im getting ready and i go to put in my contact lenses but quickly decide that i wanna wear my glasses. i slid on my glasses and went to my closet to pick out an outfit.
i walk into my closet and as im looking around all i see is two common pieces of clothing..
black jeans and graphic tees.
for shoes i wear quite an array of shoes but they are all one brand.
vans. (relatable)
i throw on my outfit and grab my phone and earbuds.
i walk downstairs and see my mom and dog on the couch.
"morning sunshine" my mother said (A/N my mom calls me sunshine so i decided..why not lol)
"morning mom" i reply
"make sure you grab something to eat on your way out!" she shouts as im in the kitchen getting a water bottle for my backpack.
"gotcha" i say
i quickly grab a granola bar and my backpack and head towards the door.
"see you when you get home sweetie!" my mom shouts
"see ya, love you!" i shout back.
as im walking to my car i see the one and only daniel seavey..
"hey y/n what's up?"
why tf is he being so nice to me?! he's never talked to me before..
"u-umm hi?" i say weirded out a little
daniel's pov
so ive seen y/n around school and ive always thought she was cute..so why not talk to her?
"hey y/n what's up?" i say to y/n as she walks to her car.
"u-umm hi?" she replies but i can tell she's a little thrown off.
"you wanna walk to school together today?" i ask her
"s-sure i dont mind,unless you wanna drive with me..i let you drive. after all it is a little chilly outside" she says
"ok then we will drive to school" i say
we hop in her car and i start driving to school.
y/n's pov
so i just let daniel seavey in my car and let him drive it!? wtf am i thinking i let my crus- nope i don't like him.
anyways as we start to drive i turn on the radio and some unfamiliar song starts to play.
"HOLY SHIT" daniel yells
"WHAT?" i yell scared because i thought we were about to crash
"the song.." he slightly whispers in shock..
"what about it?" i ask calming down a bit.
"t-thats my s-song..y/n THATS MY SONG!" he pulls over getting all happy and cute.
wait wtf.
did i just say cute. fuck.
"really i didn't know you sang" i say
"but it sounds like more than one voice" i continue
"that's because im in a band" he says still shocked
"really wow. what's it called..i might have to give you guys a listen.."
i say sarcastically but really meaning it.
"why don't we" he says blankly.
"why don't we what?" i say confused
"nooo that's the name of the band cutie" he chuckles
cutie. fuck. shit. bitch. young sheck wes and im getting really rich (A/N sorry.)
he called me cutie and it made me feel some type of way.
"y/n" he says shaking my arm.
"y-yea" i say snapping out of whatever gaze i was in.
"we're here." he replies putting my car in park.
"o-ok thanks for the drive even though it's my car" i giggle.
"no problem,princess thanks for letting me drive" he says pinching my check slightly.
"damn you,seavey" i mumble under my breath so he doesn't hear.
—skip to lunch—
zach's pov
as me and the boys are walking to lunch we realize that daniel is missing.
"yo bros, where's seavey?"
"i couldn't tell you" corbyn replies
"SHIT ON A BRICK" jack whisper yells loud enough for only us to hear him.
"what dude" jonah asks
"i found dani" he says while his eyes are focused on one thing.
jack's pov
as me and the boys are walking to lunch..i hear zach ask where daniel is..
i look over and i see daniel and y/n laughing and talking while eating their lunch..i was so surprised because we've never really talked to her and always hang out with each other.
"damn she's cute" i hear zach say.
"she's alright" i say honestly
y/n wasn't really my type..don't get my wrong she's beautiful but just not what i want lol
y/n's pov
as me and daniel are waking to lunch i realize that we've gotten really close in the past couple hours
"hey do you want me to sit with you today?" he asks gently.
"i-it's up to you..you don't have to if you don't wanna"
"i wanna it's ok" he replies
"let's go get some food" i say as we walk into the lunch room
daniel's pov
as y/n and i walk into the lunch room i see the boys staring at me..but i continue doing what im doing
we sit down and start eating and talking and i realized me and y/n are starting to get really close and im glad she feels she can open up to me.
the rest of the boys pov
we walk over to dani and y/n and sit down.
"hey dani" jack says
"hey guys what's up?" he replies with a smile
"who's the pretty lady?" zach asks
"this is y/n..y/n this is zach,corbyn,jack,and jonah,my band mates that i was telling you about in the car" he tells y/n as he looks at her in her eyes
"oh alright..well hi u-um i'm but you already know that" y/n giggles nervously
daniel's pov
she's so cute. wait. hold up.
cute? holy shit..
i. like. y/n.
i can't tell her yet.. ive known her for at least two years well known OF her but ive never interacted with her.
but now that i have..there's nothin holding me back. (A/N shawn mendes stans wya?)
"hey guys?" i ask getting snapped out of my thoughts
"yea" they all say including y/n
"would you guys like to have like a swim party this weekend?"
"sounds dope" corbyn replies
"ummm sure what time?" y/n asks shyly
"around 12:30 sounds good..you can stay for how ever long you want tho." i say to her
"ok sounds like a plan" she giggles
man....this girls gonna be the death of me (A/N ME ME!! YOU GOTTA BAD REPUTATION IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD) sry.
