You let out a loud groan as you heard Percy Jackson shaking you to get up, you buried your head into your pillow before he finally said something. "C'mon [Y/N]! I'll throw water on you if you don't get up!!" You jolted up, your [H/C] locks swooping infront of your eyes. "Okay, I'm up!" You said to Percy. The seven and Nico were standing at the foot of your bed. "Happy Birthday!!" You heard Hazel shout from the side of the room. You pushed your hair out of your face and tucked it behind your ear. "Woah, what?-" You raised a brow, "it's my birthday?" You added in a shocked tone, laced with sarcasm. Leo chuckled at your remark, making you blush a bit. "I lit the candles /without/ burning down camp." He said proudly, a few others rolled their eyes playfully at what he said. "Well, at least let me get ready." You said to them, still buried in blankets. "Alright, fine. But get ready soon, [Y/N]!" Percy replied, giggling like a little kid. They flooded out of Poseidon cabin and quickly let you get dressed for the day.
Almost immediately after you walked out of your cabin, you were greeted by multiple Aphrodite kids giggling and whispering outside of your cabin. It seemed a little fishy since they should have been at breakfast, but you passed it off as them just wanting to say happy birthday. I mean, you were turning 16, that's a pretty big milestone.
You walked to your table to take a seat but instead, you saw the seven and Nico all sitting there. "Why are you sitting at Poseidon table?? Won't you guys get in trouble?" You asked, eyeing Chiron in the corner. "Nope." Nico interrupted before Annabeth could reply. "We asked Chiron and he said it's fine since it's your birthday, plus, I have a /doctors note/." You rolled your eyes at the last bit since Will wasn't technically his doctor, but you still appreciated that they all had put so much effort into this for you. "So?" Hazel said out of no where, containing her excitement. Piper giggled and turned to me. "Yes, we can open presents now." Your eyes lit up, presents? For /you/?! This day just got one thousand times better! You smiled as Percy handed you a few gifts, you had gotten things from the Seven, Nico, and a few other campers. Everyone except for Leo. You were a little dissapointed but you figured he might have just burned it by accident, wouldn't he have said something though? You guessed him making the cake was enough. Annabeth cleared her throat once you had finished throwing wrappering paper all over the floor. "Okay, [Y/N], would you like to do the honours?" She said with a warm smile, handing me a knife to cut the cake once I had blown out the candles. You leaned into the cake that Leo had lit with his finger tips and blew out the candles with only one wish on your mind. "I wish that Leo Valdez liked me back..." You thought to yourself as you leaned back into your seat, just before your back hit the chair, Leo stood up to make a small announcement.
