1. I am a Muslim, all praises be to God. (And nope, that doesn’t mean I’m a alien, or a person out to hurt you. Just a human in a headscarf xD)
2. I’m a second year law student.
3. I’m an overthinker. I over think every thing.
4. I love tea.
5. I recently joined the gym :p Trying to become a grown up and all that.
6. I love accents. I’m always putting on different accents, only for them to sound terrible and having my family complain at me.
7. I’m a major procrastinator. Once, to put off doing revision, I wrote a blog post on how to procrastinate effectively and then proceeded to do (some) of those things.
8. I’ve always loved reading. I read literally anything I can get my hands on.
9. I’m a big cynic.
10. I went through a hijabi goth phase in my early teenage years…
11. I’m feeling hungry right now. Good job I joined the gym lol
12. I sometimes stalk youtubers on twitter. You know, causally googling Carrie, or Dan…
13. I struggle with sincerity sometimes, so I have to stop and renew my intentions.
14. I was quite ill this past year.
15. My sister introduced me to wattpad, and at first I was so sceptical and cynical of all ‘these awesome book you can find on here.’ As much as I hate to say this, I’ve been proven wrong.
16. I love Dawud Wharnsby Ali. His lyrics are so profound and thought provoking.
17. I have a guitar that I can’t play.
18. I’ve sat in the classes of some honourable teachers, and I pray that I might one day, find myself in a class taught by Shaykh Hamza Yusuf.
19. Most the time, I’m quite mellow and relaxed, but when I get angry, I’ve been told that I can get angry.
20. I’ve learnt – especially in this past year – that when things aren’t going you way, keep steadfast and firm, and believe that it will all be okay God wiling. There’s a higher purpose out there, and no matter how long the road may seem, you just need a sprinkle of patience, a dash of hope, and plentiful amounts of Sunnah and good character, and you’ll be on your merry way xD
