KURT'S/POV

I lived in NYC, I was living my dream, my senior year at NYADA was going to start in a month, and I was working at vogue. I use to live with one of my best friends from my dark ages, high school, Mrs. Rachel Berry. But she became a brodway star and was asked to star in a new tv show, so that leaves me alone in what use to be our apartment in bush wick. At first it wasn't our ideal area were we wanted to live, but manhattan was way to expensive. I eventually grew into taking taxi or the subway to get to school and work, the apartment was well enough at a decent price for me to pay on my own after I got a job at the spotlight diner. I was dating a guy named Adam, a fellow NYADA student and he leaded the Adam's apples. I broke it off with him about 3 months in, he was really sweet but he loved me a lot more than I loved him. I want to find it, true love, what I had with him wasn't true love, maybe it was to him but it wasn't really to me but I didn't want to hurt him, I wasn't like that.

BLAINE'S/POV

I live in Manhattan, NYC. The price for my house was outrageous because, I mean really my parents gave me the money for it all, the house is huge, and lonely. My life in NYC was great I was captain firefighter for a fire station near bush wick, life was good except for those few days I would come home with some scratches and minor burns. But I am fighter and fought the pain, there is one thing no one knows about me not even my parents know. I have a bunch of talents and likes, but I hide most of them away. My major ones would be, playing guitar, piano and also singing. I'm not you usual singer, I'm a small, muscular, fireman. When I was about 5 I use to sing along to the Disney movies, I really do enjoy singing, I just am not sure if I'm good, I usually only sing in the shower and hum to the music in my car. I feel like something is missing in my life, something like no other but I can't find it, I really want to know what it is.

I walked out of my room and began to flip trough a desserts recipe book, and turned to the cake section.i have many quotes but one of the ones I don't use very often "the only cure to loneliness is cake". I found it, the cake I always had when I was lonely, I began to look move my way up the list of ingredients required for the cake and grabbing them after I read them all. Slowly putting the vanilla batter into the small circular pan and setting the stove to a certain heat and leave it to warm up for five minutes, I slowly slid the cake pan into the oven, pulling the oven mitts off after I put the pan in the oven. After about five minutes of sitting around I started on the icing. After about an hour of preparing the icing I walked into my bedroom and I flopped down against the soft sheets. Slowly I drifted of into a deep sleep...

I was sitting in my office at the fire station, working on some paperwork when the bell rung calling our station and a few other in the area. I jumped up rushing toward the garage were the trucks were. Quickly I slid into my suit and rushed to the driver side of one of the trucks, quickly I put the keys in ignition and rushed to were the fire was. All of the guys piled up into a huddle in front of me.

"Ok guys I'm going to go in first, and some of you follow ok," I said pointing towards the guys I wanted to come up to the fire and they nodded. I slowly made my way toward the entrance sliding my mask on. "Ok guys the fire is on the third floor and of what I know it's a pretty big fire." I said walking up the stairs approaching the third floor and they all nodded. Slowly I pulled open the door to the fire and walked in, all the guys following me. I searched for a fire extinguisher and handed it to on of the guys. I slowly made my way towards the bedrooms being Carful of the fire around me, then I saw it, there was a guy laying on the bed. I rushed to the bed side, he looked pale, I put my hand on his chest feeling his breathing, smooth and equal. I slowly moved my arms under him and he began to move around, he awoke his big blue eyes looking into mine. I smiled lifting him up of the bed from underneath his back picking him up bridal style. He continued to stare at me, his expression worried and eyes filled with fear.
