You guys asked for it. And here it is! This spin off would be better understood if you've read "Dear Gang Leader" but I I will try my utmost best to keep it unrelated for the most part. I hope y'all enjoy!

The etches on the table continue to deepen with each run over of my pencil. The teacher still drones on at the front of the class as the rest of us attempt to fight exhastion triggered purely by how boring this guy is.
My growing impatience is beat down as the ringing bell finally dismisses us - yes, the sweet call to freedom. Sitting in one place for any amount of time isn't exactly my strong point.
Rushing out into the cool outside air is a refreshing contrast to the stuffy classroom. And what's more? I would get to see William today. He promised he would come to collect me after school and we'd go straight to the arcade.
Of all my brothers William is by far the best. I'm guessing it's a younger and older brother thing or something but he was always the one who stuck up for me when Carson and Liz would begin their teasing. No doubt they're usually just messing - but still. It's nice to have someone who has your back - and it really sucked when he went off to serve.
"Hey Charlie! Need a ride?" West calls from where his bike is parked.
"Thanks but no - William's back today, said he'd pick me up!" I respond, my cheeriness echoing through the lot.
"Alright! Have a good one mate!"
I wave West off and he takes his leave. By now most of the vehichles and people have cleared.
An hour passes. Another half. It's Liz who finally comes for me - she looks a state. She says he's gone. His bus crashed on the way home.
William is gone and so were the beginnings of the foundations of our family.
