Being human means failing then working harder,
Being human means feeling up then feeling down,
Being human means hitting your limits then going farther,
Being human means thinking you look like a clown,
Being human means finding love,
Being human means knowing pain,
Being human means starting as innocent as a dove,
Being human means having a name.
Humans know love and hate,
Humans know defeat and victory,
Humans know pain and pleasure,
Humans know happiness and sorrow,
Humans know honesty and lies,
Humans know logic and emotion,
Humans know heights and depths,
Humans know life and death.
Learning and growing as each obstacle they meet,
Being a human is no easy feat.
