"You ready?" josh peeked his head around the wall while being reflected in the mirror, "totally but uh..yea never mind let's go" I whipped around and walked out behind josh, "Cya kids!!" Miss Lee spoke from the kitchen before we walked out.

Silence filled the small car as we drove to Joshs studio, "you know...Lily I can teach you to dance, you're so good at helping me figure out moves to my own choreographs I can teach you" Josh shook the silence as we turned into the driveway.

We walked in to see dance majors twirling or jumping, flips and back bends, "Hi Lils! Hey josh!" Jessie twirled last us before pirouetting away, "Okay start off like we did next week, I'll draw o-Josh!" he cut me off before dragging me to the mirror, "shut up and dance with me".

It seemed only yesterday I started dancing, josh always my partner but the occasional swap with Jessie, "Okay so..what's an Arabesque?" Brianna asked setting her bag down that smelled of horses, resting my own bag beside her I walked into the middle of the room before slightly bending my knee leaning my chest out and head up my right leg pointed out straight.

Brianna clapped before coughing, "sorry choked..." She nervously spoke before eating again, tipping onto to the tips of my toes I felt hands wrap around my waist, "Ooo get some josh!"Brianna shouted leaning on the wall, josh followed me into a Échappé before twirling into to face him leaning into a Penché, "Well done Lily, you're learning" He said before twirling once and jumping into a temps levé.

"You ballet people amuse me" Brianna mocked with a British accent, "ha ha ha, and you're horse riding amuses me, mostly that little squeal I hear you do when you go over jumps" I joked back. Brianna stood up and handed me my bottle "you ready for that gig in four months"Josh asked stealing my water. I froze remembering I haven't told Brianna, "wait...you have a gig?! This is great!" She squealed  "Yea except she has stage freight" Josh cut her off looking a me while drinking.

Brianna looked at me, "I had stage freight, first time I preformed on a horse I was terrified. So many people really, but you close your eyes and you feel the adrenaline when the horses hooves hit the ground, so ignore the people and you believe you can do it" She finished before looking at her phone, "practice starts soon...good luck Lily" She encouraged.

Josh and I walked towards his car as practice finished, sliding into the car I slid my pointe shoes off and sighed in relief, "oh that feel so good" I groaned in pleasure forcing a laugh out of him, "great isn't it?" Josh turned the key, my phone playing 'Ballerina'. Walking into josh's house I walked into the loungroom to see Miss Lee passed out, I turned to see josh walking towards me, "you staying over or you want me to drop you off?" He whispered "I'll just stay here I don't wanna force you" I replied laying a blanket on Miss Lee.
