Chapter 2

I slowly turned back around and looked from camerons firm grip on my wrist back up to his pleading eyes. it felt like hours.. but in reality it was probably no more than 7 seconds. i jerked my eyes away from his in hopes to shake away the feelings i was already gaining for this kid i met not even 30 minutes ago.

i decided the best thing to do was probably get back in and not try to argue with him. i turned around sat back in the passenger seat. my eyes kept slowly driffting back to this beautiful human being i was sitting next too, but then ' alex ' i thought.

to keep my mind from wondering i started a conversation between us all. " umm so where are you taking us?.." i asked trying not to make eye contact wiith cameron.

" anywhere you want beautiful " he said in a low voice to where i could only hear.

c'mon kaity shake it away, you have alex to think about here, i thought to myself. 

" THE BEACH " screamed Jack J. 

" but we dont have any bathing suit!" we basically all chimed in. 

" that isnt a problem you guys, if thats really what kaity and bre want to do considering we kind of took over their day.. ' cameron said not taking his eyes away from the road this time. 

we nodded in unison. 

with that cameron hit his turn signal exiting the freeway towards the mall.

we all hoped in the car. Jack J, Jack G, Nash, and Matt taking the lead with linked arms. which left Cameron and i alone behind them..

there was a bit of an awkward silence so i decided it was best i broke the silence before things got any worse. " so.. " i said trying to put a fake smile on my face.

" you realize going into the mall is going to be a mad house.. we have to stay close " cameron said not showing any emotion.

i thought back to the starbucks parking lot and to how crazy it was. i began to grow very nervous. 

we followed the jack, nash & matt in through some back exit, i started to loose track of where we were going after a while. i was lost in thought when all of a sudden i saw a group of about 50 girls running at us slowly getting closer and closer. if it hadnt been cameron grabing my hand and practically yanking my behind him i probably would have been attacked. 

cameron was still holding my hand after we eventually lost the girls pack of girls. but we had lost bre and the rest of the boys. so cameron dragged me into the victoria's secret, which we just happened to be standing next to. 

" of all stores really? ' i asked him. 

" my bad. " he said not acutally meaning it. 

we walked back into the bathing suit department and cameron and i ran around trying to find something that was to terribly revealing.. while cameron wasnt exactly sticking to that rule but. 

i was starting to grow a lot more comfortable around him, which i knew deep down was a terrible thing. 

we were about to purchase a basic white bikini with gold rings holding it all together when cameron said " why dont you try it on to make sure it actually fits? " with a smirk

i decided he was probably right so i rolled my eyes and walked off into the fitting rooms.

i looks at myslef in the mirror before opening the door to reveal myself half naked to cameron dallas.

i was nervous as hell to reveal myself to him. i slowly opened the door to see cameron looking up from his cell phone screen to me and watching his eyes grow 10x bigger. 

" you look- " he was about to say when bre interrupted him

" hot, you look hot. " she said with a laugh all the boys added in a little laugh after catching a glimpse.

i ran back in and changed into my original clothing. we checked out and then made a break for it to the jeep to avoid being trampled. 

we got back into our same seats in the car, and drove to the beach. there was a long awkward silence between cameron and i the whole way there. my mind was racing i wanted to know exactly what he was thinking at this very moment in time. 

we finally arived at the beach and it was long until the other four boys were complaining about being hungry, so i thought id go get something to eat considering cameron just bought all of the bathing usits & towels at the mall. 

" ill go get something to eat!" i screamed ove my shoulder. 

then i saw cameron jogging up beside me shirtless. which i kne i shouldnt have liked but deep down its what i desired.

" what i was trying to say back there was that you looked- look amazing. " he said turning a very light shade of red but his tan skin still made it visible. 

" thanks cam " i noded adding a real smile this time time. 

we finally arrived at subway.

" Cameron!? " is all i heard the second cameron opened the door for me.

cameron took a step closer to my side " hi kimberly" he said awkwardly. 

the girl took a step closer and looked me down which made me wish i would have brought a towel with me. 

" who this your new skanky girlfriend? " she said disgustidly adding in an eye roll.
