Chapter 8

Lisa was playing with her newly found friends at the park, she was only 5 years only at this time. She clung on to the bars like a monkey while her friends named Seulgi and Irene are cheering for her to finish the bars till the end.

"Gow Lisaa! Feenish feenish!" Seulgi cheered while clapping her hands to encourage Lisa.

"Yah! Your doll iz mayn if you loseeeee" Irene pointed Lisa while warning her about their bet.

"I wi-will peenish diz wash mee" Lisa shouted at the top of her lungs while reaching the last bar.

She tightened her grip not letting go because she feels like she's going to fall once she loosen her grip a bit. Meanwhile, a little girl with a fluffy cheeks and gummy smile reached the bar and is preparing to climb but before she could raise her hands she saw a girl looking like a barbie doll and is about to fall based on what she's seeing.

She heard some kids cheering for her and her brows furrowed while being nervous at what's about to happen.

"Ouch! Wahhhhhhhh " The girl started sobbing when she fell to the ground. The little girl rushed to the barbie girl immediately to hush her from crying. She saw the other kids dumb founded at their position then run away maybe to call their parents and tell what happened to this barbie girl.

She held the barbie girl's head to face her and she saw tears on her cheeks trailing down.

"Don't cry shhhhh.. I'm here" she whispered continuously to the girl to calm her. She brushed her bangs and wiped her tears. The girl's eyes is still closed while crying so she kissed her forehead without knowing Lisa suddenly opened her eyes. Lisa was blinking a couple of times and sniffed to control her emotions.

"Hi, are you okay? Does it hurt?" the little girl displayed her gummy smile while brushing Lisa's cheeks with her right hand. Lisa was in the state of shock because of the little girl in front of her. She stopped crying anymore and stared at the girl's cat like eyes. She was mesmerized by her presence and it took her seconds to response at her.

"Was yor neym?" Lisa uttered, and she heard the girl chuckled at her statement. Her eyes look cute at the way she laughs and giggles.

"mmm.. Jennie, call me Jennie" the girl said.

"Ahhh Nini, it is nays too meet chu" Lisa said while trying to get up from the ground and Jennie helped her. Jennie laughed a little because Lisa can't pronounce the words properly unlike her.

"Baby, what happened?" Lisa's mom worriedly asked while checking her daughter with bruises on her knees and shoulders.

"Mimi, diz is Nini she uhmm he-helped me w-when I wahz cwaying" Lisa introduced Jennie to her Mom first before telling her about what happened. Lisa's Mom shifted her gaze at the young girl with cat-like eyes beside her and smiled at her. Jennie is startled because she thought Lisa's Mom will scold and blame her on what happened to her daughter.

"Thank you so much Nini for helping my Lisa" Lisa's Mom leaned a bit and hugged Jennie.

Jennie embraced me tightly and started sobbing while a tear escape from my eye.

"I thought you forgot about me Lili" she shakily whispered.

"I thought you forgot about me too Nini" I unclasped her arms around me and held her to look at me. I genuinely smiled and kissed her without the lust and passion but with warmth of my love.
