I stood at the top of my LA apartment enjoying the warm summer air. I walked over to the hot tub and slid in feeling the burning water touch my skin making me shiver. Rosie followed me in with two drinks that may or may not have a tad of alcohol in them. I slowly sipped the lemonade while scrolling through my Instagram. My phone screen lit up with the notification " @shawnmendes liked your post." 

I choked on my drink, "Rosie! Shawn Mendes liked my post" She rolled her eyes and went back to tanning on the top of the hot tub.

"Do you seriously think he would pay attention to people like us?" She muffled rubbing sunscreen on her back and then wiped the rest on her face.

I glared back at her, "Possibly?!" Rosie laughed and then her eyes lit up. I knew she was up to one of her master plans. 

"What is it Rose?" I questioned. She sat up and slid into the hot tub, now facing me. 

"I bet, we can make shawn mendes fall in love with you," She said with excitement. 

My eyes turned to confusion, "How on earth, he doesn't even know me?" 

"Exactly, I have a feeling we can make him fall in love with you just by what he sees about you on Instagram." I stood staring at her in shock. 

"Rosie, I cant believe i'm saying this but.."

"But, what?" She screamed.

"Its brilliant!" I threw my hands up in the air. 

I got out of the hot tub and wrapped a towel around my wet body drying it off. As I walked over to a chair I threw Rosie my phone and positioned myself on it. Ella groaned as she got out of the water and squated down next to me in the chair. She opened the camera app on my phone and took a few shots of me posing trying to look "hot" for shawn.

She clicked on one and said, "Gurl, you look like a glowing goddess wow."

"Thanks Babe," I said kissing her cheek. 

We both laid out our towels and edited the pictures together.
