Nan Hee's POV

Weeks passed by and Dae Ahn was a bit better now. Jin was happy about his progress.

But I can't still find the right moment to tell Minhyun that Jin was my ex. He knows what happened in the past. But he doesn't know that the person he respects the most now was the reason of all the scars on my heart.

After visiting Dae Ahn for a while, I went to the Nurses' Station to see Nurse Ha.

Nurse Ha: Good afternoon, Dr. Noh.

Nan Hee: Seeing you, Nurse Ha gives me strength.

Nurse Ha: wae?

Nan Hee: You're like my mom.

Nurse Ha: is that so?

Nan Hee: I kinda miss her. She's in Hong Kong right now. A vacation with her friends.

Nurse Ha: Let her relax. I know she feels accomplished because her daugther earns so much.

I just smiled.

Nurse Ha: By the way.

Nan Hee: hm?

Nurse Ha: The new nurses here seems to gossip about Jin and Minhyun.

Nan Hee: Waeyo?

Nurse Ha: They seem to like them. Hahaha. And of course your cousin.

Nan Hee: Don't let my cousin hear about that, Nurse Ha. He'll just boast of how handsome he is.

Nurse Ha: Have you had your lunch?

Nan Hee: Not yet. I was waiting for Minhyun but he's busy.

Nurse Ha: If that's the case then I'll join you.

Nan Hee: Yey! My treat, Nurse Ha.

I got a message from Minhyun saying he'll be at the doctor's lounge to rest. Nurse Ha is really our number one fan. We were busy talking when I noticed Jin at the lobby. He was in a hurry.

After a while, Dr. Bang who was also at the canteen stood up and rushed away.

Nurse Ha: It must a patient.

Nan Hee: I think so too, Nurse Ha.

Yoongi oppa suddenly appeared from nowhere.

Nan Hee: Kkamjagiya!

Yoongi: Dae Ahn.. he's--

Nan Hee: What?

Yoongi: He's--

Nan Hee: Aish. I'll go up and find out what's happenning.

I ran upstairs to Dae Ahn's room.

Minhyun was trying to recover him but it was too late. Dr. Bang has also tried but he's gone. Jin was beside them.

Jin: Dae ahn!!

He was shaking Dae Ahn's body but got no response.

Jin: Dae Ahn!! Wake up!! You promised us right?

Jin: Dae Ahn, please wake up!

Minhyun and Dr. Bang were also on tears.

Dr. Bang: Time of--

Jin: ANIYAAAAAAA!

Yoongi oppa who was too late wiped of my tears.

Nan Hee: He was okay. He was close to being fine, oppa!

Yoongi: Let's leave them here.

Nan Hee: I saw how happy he was. He even met his parents. But how can he give up this early.

Yoongi: We all know the possibilities right?

Minhyun: Yoongi hyung, please take Nan Hee away from here.

Nan Hee: Mwo?

Yoongi: Let them do what they have do. Let's go.

I cannot forget how sweet and caring Dae Ahn is. Yoongi oppa brought me to garden. But it was where I used to stay with Dae Ahn. I cried and cried until Yoongi oppa came back and gave me a bottle of water.

Yoongi: It was the first time I saw you cry.

Nan Hee: Life wasn't easy when i was at New York. I tend to cry alot there.

Yoongi: You and Jin were so attatched to Dae Ahn.

Nan Hee: It was actually the second time I got attatched to a patient.

Yoongi: That's what us doctors had to endure. The feeling of being attatched to our patients until the day the had to leave us.

Nan Hee: How did Jin became close with Dae Ahn?

Yoongi: 2 years ago, Dae Ahn was confined. But then his parents left him here since they had no money to pay for the dues. This was also the spot where Jin first met Dae Ahn.

Nan Hee: And then they became friends?

Yoongi: Dae Ahn was Jin's comfort zone.

I gazed at him.

Yoongi: Jin was very sad when you left him. He wasn't that happy but when he met Dae Ahn, he said he found a friend.

Nan Hee: Do you guys still think I was living a happy life when I left?

Yoongi: You never even called us or sent us a message. And then one day you'll come back looking so fine.

Nan Hee: Don't I have the right to be happy?

Yoongi: You left Jin. You threw the friendship away. We waited. And then you'll come back with someone who has a bit of resemblance with Jin?

Nan Hee: Mwo?

Yoongi: Don't you even feel sorry for  Jin? Dae Ahn was so important to him.

Nan Hee: So now you're blaming me everything that happened. Even what happened to Dae Ahn.

Yoongi: I was happy to see you back. But I now I understand why Jin's family hates you. You're such a selfish person. What happened today just brought back how we felt when you left. Why don't you just leave us again?
