The girl looked at Castiel and smirked. "Clever boy... Castiel, right?"
"How do you know my name? Who are you?" Cas had never seen such a young angel, but that wasn't the only thing that was off about this child.
"My name is Jules, I am an angel of The Lord." She smiled as she said it. It was a dangerous smile, as if she dared them to come any closer to her.
"You're not from this time. What year are you from?"
"2029."
"Why did you come here?" Cas cocked his head.
"To warn you," she smirked again, "You are about to be invaded by demons, a helluva lot too."
"Watch your language, kid." Dean chastised her. All she did was tip her head back and mutter under her breath, "Once a dad, always a dad." Castiel pulled Dean over to have a private conversation with him. "We should take her to Bobby's. There's something off about her."
"No kidding," Dean muttered, " Have you ever heard of her?"
"No, but I intend to find out who she really is." They grabbed her by the arms and dragged her out to the Impala where Sam was waiting for them. "How'd it g-" Sam stopped when he saw Jules, "Who's that?"
"Jules, she's an angel from 2029. We're taking her to Bobby." They pulled out of the diner parking lot and started the long drive to Bobby's.
When they got to Sioux Falls, Jules was getting restless and kept trying to fly away. Castiel was the only thing keeping her in her place. "Please tell me that you didn't kidnap a child." Bobby groaned.
"Very funny. She's an angel, her name is Jules."
"I think it'd be good to keep her in the panic room until we find a better option." Bobby said.
"Thanks." Dean replied as he lead Jules downstairs. They put a ring of holy fire around the devil's trap on the floor. "I wouldn't leave me down here if I were you." Jules threatened.
"Why's that?" Sam asked.
Jules shrugged, "Claustrophobic." Sam chuckled and went back upstairs with Dean.
"What should we do with her?" Dean asked to no one in particular.
"I think we should question her. Find out more about the demon invasion." Bobby replied.
"That's a good idea, but we can't leave her in the panic room forever." Sam said.
"Well, what do you suggest we do?" Bobby stared at the boy. Man, he needed a haircut.
Castiel spoke up, "We could give her a room upstairs. Keep her under surveillance, and take care of her until we're done with our interrogation."
"It's not bad, but who's gonna watch her?" Dean asked, "I'm not exactly the best with kids."
"Sam and I can keep an eye on her while you and Bobby try to dig something up on the demons." Cas replied.
"I'll go get her." Sam said as he started down the stairs. He opened the door to the panic room and found Jules lying on her back on a table. "Thank god, I thought you'd never let me out!" She said sarcastically as she sat up. "Where are you gonna take me?"
"We're gonna let you take a room upstairs." Jules seemed confused by this.
"Now all of a sudden you trust me?"
"Not exactly."
"Oh I see, 24/7 surveillance," she smirked. A crack of lightning revealed her wings and she giggled. "Have fun with that." Sam put out the holy fire and motioned for her to come. "On second thought, I'd rather stay here." Her voice cracked just enough for Sam to know that something was up.
"The holy fire is out, what's stopping you from leaving?"
"Nothing, I'll leave when I want to." Jules laid back down on the table, crossing her arms.
"Suit yourself, I'll be back in 10 minutes to see if you change your mind."
~Jules' POV~
Should I tell him what I really am? Do I trust him enough not to tell Dean or Cas? So many questions are buzzing through my brain. I don't have enough time to find a way out of this.
The ten minutes are almost up when I finally decide that showing him my true form will be for the best. God, I hope this goes well.
