Legends {Katsuki Bakugou x Reader}

Chapter six

I woke up again to the harsh white lights blinding me. I notice that Bakugou is gone.

Heh, they probably made him leave.

I couldn't even crack a smile at the thought. My heart and my head were to broken to be happy.

I take a deep breath and sit up. It hurts a lot less than last time. I look back at my wings and notice that they have healed quite a bit. I'm starting to believe that Recovery girl came and visited.

I feel much more able to move. I throw the covers off of me and my hospital gown. I slowly move my legs over to the edge of the bed.

I heard the door open and I look up. I see my homeroom teacher in the doorway. I glare back at the floor.

"If you just came here to tell me how stupid I am, now is not the time" I said with tears welling in my eyes.

He walks up to me.

"I came here to apologize" his low scratchy voice said.

I look back up at him in slight shock.

"I should have listened to you and came up with a plan sooner" he said.

"It's all my fault that he's dead" I said, my eyes blurry with tears.

"It is NOT your fault whatsoever. True heroes have to go through so much pain and lost. That's what makes them a hero. You will lose people that are close to you when you become a hero and that's okay because they pass knowing that you did everything you could to save them" he said.

I began to realize that almost every hero has had someone close to them pass. I look back up at Aizawa.

"You're right... thank you sensei" I said softly.

He smiles slightly and puts his hand on my shoulder.

"You did amazing fighting for him" he said.

I wrap my arms around his neck. A small gasp escaped his lips. He slowly wrapped his arms around my body. I let go of his body and he does the same.

"There are a few people here for you" He said opening the door.

I see a few different colored hairstyles. Kirishima, Deku, and Iida walk in. They all look terribly sad, especially Iida.

"Hey guys" I said softly.

Aizawa walks out of the door and closes it behind him. Iida slowly walks up first.

"Why did you have to go?" He asked quietly.

I was about to answer before his yelling cut me off.

"WHY DID I LET YOU GO?! I SAW YOU LEAVING! AND I... I did nothing to stop you" He said grabbing my shoulders.

He looked down and rested his head on my shoulder. I wrap my arms around his neck.

"It's okay" I muttered.

His large arms slowly wrapped around my back.

"I'm so sorry. I think of both of you as my sister and brother. You guys grew up with me" he said.

I levitate to the top of the swings and sit on the pole. I continue to look out at the zoo of kids running around.

"Hey! You aren't supposed to be up there!" I heard a small boys voice say below me.

I look down and see a dark blue well kept together mop of hair. His small glasses slightly hid his lighter blue eyes.
