*millie's pov*

It was just the beginning of September. Yay first day of school at Hawkins High as a senior. I'm being sarcastic if you couldn't tell. "Hey mills!" my red headed best friend Sadie calls as I hop in her black Mustang. "Hey Sades," I replied. She rambled loudly on the joys of being a senior while I took a quick power nap on the warm window. "We're here," she says waking me from my daze, "yaaaaaaay" I say. "Come on mills it'll be a great year!" She sighs as she drags me by my arm into Hawkins High. We laugh as we enter its doors. Hello senior year.

I said goodbye to Sadie and headed to my home room. Mr. Harrington was already done with his coffee and being the best teacher ever, as usual. "Hey Millie! How was your summer? I remember you said you were gonna go to LA? How'd it go?" He asked brightly, " It was super fun Mr. Harrington, we went to everywhere we wanted to go and we got to go to a super cool beach." I answered. "Glad to hear that Millie, take a seat and socialize, you know the drill" he said with a warm smile. I slowly skipped to my desk and squealed as I saw one of my besties for life... Noah. "SHNAPPLE!!!!" I yelled as I ran twords the small boy, "MILLSTER!!" He replied with a yelp as we embraced. "Omg how was your summmmmer?" I pushed, "It was alright but I didn't get to see you so it wasn't AMAZING." He complained. "Well I missed you to." I laughed as we hugged again. Me and all my homeroom friends caught up with each other for about five minutes until I heard the door close loudly. I turned my head to make eye contact with a dark-eyed, curly-headed boy who was muy caliente if I do say so myself. I quickly caught myself staring and heard a whisper from Noah "Ooooooh Milster, new interest?", "Perhaps," I replied deviously as I watched Mr. Harrington talk to the boy for a minute, "Everyone can I have your attention please? This is Finn Wolfhard, he is new so please don't eat him alive in the first day." Mr. Harrington announced giving the class a quick laugh.

After a moment everyone went back to their normal chatter. I then saw Finn start to make his way over to me, Noah, and our friends. I turned my head to make eye contact AGAIN, what is with this boy. He awkwardly walked up and said "Hi I'm Finn." with a deep raspy voice, it was hot. "Hi I'm Noah, this is Millie, Gaten, Sophia, and Caleb, nice to meet you." Noah said with a smile. We all smiled and waved when we heard our name, I noticed how his eyes lingered in mine for a second longer then everyone else's. We all talked and laughed for the rest of homeroom. I found out that I have most of my classes with Noah and Finn so it'll be perfect. We finally heard the bell ring and all dispersed into the hallway waving goodbye. Maybe this year won't be so bad.
