Chapter 27

Beck's pov

"Kids it's not funny to joke about physical harassment. " said the police officer.

He thought we were Joking?!? What is wrong with him? Why would we joke about a possible kidnapping at 8 o'clock at night!

"Sir we weren't joking. A man tried to kidnap my girlfriend! " I shouted at him.

Wait ......... Did I just call Tori my girlfriend? I looked at her and she gave me a weird look. I didn't know what to say. Do I say 'I meant to say Friends ' no I can't do that because the dumb dip already thinks were liars. I mouthed sorry and she mouthed 'We'll talk about this later '. (or I think that's what she said. )

"Where is the man at Then" asked the police officer.

"He.... Well.... I don't know " I sighed while giving up.

"That's what I thought. You kids be safe." he said while pointing at both of us.

"Yes sir. " we replied in unison.

With that he walked back into the restaurant with his date.

Tori and I were in the car and it was silent until she spoke.

"What just happened? " she asked me.

"Well a man tried to kidnap you. I punched him in his face protecting you. He got away while you got a dumb police officer that didn't believe us. And finally we sit in this car heading to your house. " I said while looking at her since we were at a red light.

She looked at me and wrapped her arms around my stomach and said the craziest thing in the world.

"I love you Beck."

Tori's pov.

We were in the car and I was thinking a million things in my mind.

I couldn't process it all through.

"What just happened? " I said while turning to Beck.

"well.... la la la la la la LA " was all I heard until I heard the word

that word kept ringing in my ear like a school bell. And by this I meant CONSTANTLY. We were at a red light and that's when I gave him a huge hug while wrapping my arms around his torso. Then I said what I've been meaning to say all my life.

"I love you Beck". I meant as a friend but he thought different. (and maybe I did too)

I looked up at him and he looked down at me.

He started to lean in and Then he cupped my face.

What was i supposed to do.?

Wasn't kissing him once already enough since we weren't dating.

Then I heard a car horn beep at us. I pulled back thanking God for that car horn but then I realized I had jinxed it. And that's when he pulled my face back to him and kissed me.

I swear I hear fireworks in my ears. We were still kissing and Then another car horn beeped at us and that is when he pulled away.

Now I'm upset that the car horn beeped at us. It's like going from being hesitant, to happiness ,and Then to fustration.

It took us about 5 more minutes to arrive at my house. Then Beck said he had to pee so I let us in the house and I went to get me some brisk.

I was in the kitchen and I opened the refrigerator door seeing a note tapped to the bottle of brisk.

"What the?" I started to read the note.

'Stay away from Beck.' read the note and at the bottom it had the drawing of a skull.

I turned around ready to tell Beck .That is until I saw THE note plastered on the wall and it said

'Or else '.

I was NOT moving. I chanted his name wearily.

"BECK. can you please come down here." I said while I took a gulp.
