I woke up and looked up and saw Steve was asleep. I kissed the tip of his nose and he smiled before opening his eyes.
"We should probably get up", I said as I found our clothes and got dressed.
We went down the stairs and back into the house.
"I was wondering where you two went off to," said my mom laying out dinner for us on the table.
"I still can't believe that treehouse has been up as long as it has", said my dad.
"You did build it dad", I said with a smile.
"That's true", he laughed before coughing.
"Easy dad".
"I'm okay sweetheart".
We all sat down to eat.
"This is amazing Mrs. Walters", said Steve.
"Thank Steve but call me June after all you're going to be a part of this family".
Steve smiled and kissed my cheek.
"I do have an amazing fiancé".
I smile and kiss his cheek.
"I know this is personal but have you two decided on kids yet?" Asked my mom.
"Well we weren't trying but I didn't know I was pregnant...but I lost it and almost my life on a mission".
I felt Steve squeeze my hand I remember he told me how much he prayed and cried over me.
"I'm so sorry sweetheart".
"We're still thinking about our child".
"If you'll excuse me".
He got up and made his way outside. I followed him and he was sitting on a bench.
"Steve?"
"I still blame myself for losing our child and you almost dying".

"Don't blame yourself we didn't know I was pregnant and I risked my own life."
"I still blame myself I can't help it".
"Well please don't. I'm here baby".
"I'm supposed to be here for you not you worrying about me".
"Steve, we're always going to worry about the other no matter what we do. We care about each a lot".
"I know doll. I'm so happy we're together. I don't think anyone else could put up with my line of work".
"Lucky you have me then".
"I really can't wait for you to have my last name darling".
"Me neither. Mrs. Rodgers sounds amazing".
Steve takes my ring hand and kisses it.
"My darling girl as my wife".
"You ready to go back in hun?"
"Yeah".
