proximity

I dislike proximity.

The amount of space between the madness of people has to be at least an arms length in order for their eccentric actions and thoughts to not react against each other and cause a great explosion which would make the universe tear as the revolving planets and stars come to a standstill.

The rolling choppy waves of the sea would die as they consume the lands because of the magnetic field of Earth's core changing the interlinked fates of each and every living thing.

Every word you say, every breath you take alters the axis of the earth.

No matter how insignificant you are, a missing puzzle peice can cause the whole puzzle of a universe to go through massive change to fill up the gap you've left.

the madness of people

I go to school to learn, not to calculate the madness of people but to calculate the relative atomic mass of each and every atom making up a biological living thing.

barefooted

You know, they say I'm crazy.

If one is just different or I would say- more precise and accurate in reading the minds and thoughts of others- you are an outcast. The ever evolving and changing puzzle prices will restrain you from being yourself, unique, different.

I whisper and smile to myself, "Different"

I dig out my books from the sea of trash in my locker while the other puzzle pieces snigger, pointing at me and avoiding my eyes.

The scraps of paper in my locker seem to mock me, words scribbled across them, words which mock my sanity and my difference from others.

I slam my locker close and make my way to class, the soles of my feet padding across the hallway.

I prefer being barefooted.

I refuse

My table was vandalized as usual.

I refuse to read the simplistic ideas and ridiculous thoughts scribbled all over my desk and will myself to not break.

Eight months, thirteen days, six hours, sixteen minutes and seven seconds I had beared with all these daggers pointing at me, I could bear with just one more day.

"Oi, freak! Forgot to wear shoes again?"

I look down at my long gypsy skirt and clench my fists together, gritting my teeth.

I refuse to gain their acceptance.

I refuse to change for them.

framed

"Mrs Carol! I think... I think I've lost my phone!"

Claire, the most popular girl in school frowns and her eyebrows knit together worryingly. The teacher, who had just entered the class looks genuinely surprised.

Mrs Carol sighs.

"Are you sure you brought it to school?"

Claire nods her heads furiously.

"Class, bag check."

I obediently empty out my knapsack onto my desk.

What is this?
