Riding this old bus brings back memories
Years have passed and I still couldn't forget her
How she frantically looks at her watch
Her morning coffee
And how can i forget her red dress?

I remember how desperate I am to know her name
How I wanted us to talk
How excited I am for Tuesday to come
And how happy I am just to sit next to her
Where could she possibly be?

I wonder, if I had the courage to ask her name
Would we be friends?
Lovers perhaps?
Or just remain someone who knows each other?
Either way, I should've tried.

I pulled my sweater as the cold winter wind blows
The bus passed by a very familiar place
And I can't help but to smile
For I know that after this stop will be hers
The place where I watch her disappear from the crowd

The bus stopped and more people entered
"Excuse me, would you mind if I sit next to the window?"
And suddenly my heart started beating fast
I looked at her and instantly I know who she is
I stood up and we exchanged seats

And suddenly, it's like someone turned the clock and brought us back to the past
Where I wake up early every Tuesday morning
Skip breakfast just to take the bus ride with her
Sit next to her while she gets lost in her world
And pray for the next Tuesday to come fast

But my courage abandoned me
The butterflies in my stomach flew again
And suddenly, I am again my old self
Still too scared to ask her name
Or even say a single word

I have been waiting for this to come
But now that it's here
Now that destiny brought us together
Now that everything seems to finally fall in to place
I can't even move a single muscle

"Excuse me, this is my stop. Thank you for letting me sit by the window"
"You're welcome"
I watched her as she get off our bus
It's like time hadn't touched her
She was as graceful as ever

And just like that, everything shattered
The woman that i have been dying to see for years finally showed up
But I let her go once more
Will i ever see her again?
Only fate can tell
