"So what is this about vampires?" T'Challa asks as the group sits with Fury and the other Avengers there.

"Strigoi," Jelani says. "Think of them as the grandfather to vampires. They're terrifying things and combined with demons: this world is screwed."

"Just peachy," Tony says as he stares at the screen.

"How do we kill them?"

"Fire, cutting off the head, and/or spearing them through the heart," Jelani says as she sips her coffee, looking at her nails. "Babe I need a refill."

"When we get home--Jelani!"

"Look at them!"

Erik and T'Challa look at her nails.

"Yeah...you need a refill boss."

"Thank you Erik. Erik understands."

"Don't start..."

She rolls her eyes but smiles as T'Challa kisses her hand.

"Anyway," Fury says. "Do you know why they suddenly came to New York?"

"Do I look like a Strigoi?" Jelani asks, arms crossed. "I have dragons and that's it."

Jelani is annoyed with this conversation and stands.

"I'm going to Starbucks."

She kisses T'Challa before leaving, getting on the elevator and heading for the lobby.

"Erik can you stay with her please?" T'Challa asks.

"Sure."

He chases after her.

"Now, what's the plan?"

Erik and Jelani walk into her nail salon and waves to Winnie, her nail tech.

"Dragon Princess!"

The two hug as she sits, Erik sitting next to her.

"Ombre?"

"Yes. I was thinking a light blue fade into white or silver."

"I like the silver. Claw or Coffin?"

"Let's do claw this time."

She nods as she goes and gets the powders as Jelani looks at her phone.

"So...Peter kissed me last night."

Jelani looks up, slowly turning her head as she looks at Erik.

"Peter? Peter Parker? Little Cinnamon roll Peter?"

Erik nods.

"What kind of kiss? Hello, don't just say y'all kiss and nothing else!"

"It was a kiss on the cheek. We had Hot Chocolate and was going to bed and he kissed me."

Jelani looks at the wall before looking at her nails and then Erik.

"Boss are you mad?"

"Mad? No! I'm happy! Because Tony and I were beginning to think Peter was asexual which is fine but my baby is too cute to not get some ass."

"So, you're not mad he kissed me?"

"No but you better keep your dick in your pants for another year."

"Yes Boss."

"Good."

She looks back at Winnie as the two begin to talk. Erik joins in as they begin to talk about some fashion line that just dropped.

Jelani and Erik are walking back home when they hear a scream. They turn and see one of the strigoi that seems to be in its normal form aka a hideous looking beast.
