Chapter 1

I'm famous. you may not know me, but I'm going to tell you a story that you'll never forget.

When I was born, my lungs weren't fully developed. My twin Chloe was fine. I stayed in hospital for 18 months. After that I got let out. I wasn't allowed to do anything for 6 months. I wasn't allowed to walk, because then I would want to run, and that would be bad. My mom carried me everywhere. People told her to let me walk, that I was a toddler. But they didn't know, no one knew.

I started dancing at the ALDC when I was 2. Me, Chloe, Paige and Brooke took our first class together. Mom told Miss Abby about my problem and not to push me too hard. But I wanted to be pushed. I wanted to move up to Chloe's level. She got all the solos, and I was always up the back of the group dance.

I never had any solos, not even one. By the time I was 6, I was at the level of a 3 year old. But still, Miss Abby moved me and Chloe up to the Junior Elite Competition team. We weren't in the age range, but Miss Abby thought we were good enough to be in that team, well she mainly thought Chloe was good enough, but she had to move me up.

I asked Miss Abby one day, that I wanted to be pushed, I wanted to come up to Chloe's level, and for her to push me to my hardest... and she said okay! I was so happy, but I never realised how big of a mistake that was....
