I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock. I rolled over sleepily and hit the snooze button one last time. When I heard it beep again I decided it was time  to get up. I turned it off and groaned. I looked at myself in my mirror. My long brown hair tangled and messy, clung to my face. I wrinkled my freckled nose and stretched. I got up, the cold wooden  floor freezing my feet. I take my fuzzy green blanket and smooth it out across my bed. My pillows and old stuffed animals stretched out in multiple directions on the floor and I proceeded to clean them up. Rays of sunlight enter my bedroom window, making floating  dust particles visible. I arrange my pillows and stuffed animals out on my bed, I count each one and say their names in my head. Spike, Blue, Spot,  Ace, Daisy, Buddy, Duke... (I know I'm 15 but I've had these stuffed animals since I was a baby and I don't know why, but I haven't been able to get rid of them since.)

I finish and walk over to my dresser.
Hm...What to wear...
I pull out a grey sweat shirt, a pair of leggings and some runners. I get dressed and brush my hair. I look over at the clock.
9:15...
I step out of my room, I smell coffee, and  can hear the voice of a news reporter on T.V. I walk down the stairs and enter the kitchen. Mom is reading a book on the sofa beside dad who has his eyes set on the television. He has  'World's Best Dad' mug in  his hand and mom and dad both have slippers on their feet. Mom looks up from her book.
"Good Morning sweetie!" Her dark brown hair was up in a poinytail and her reading glasses sat on her nose.
"Good morning mom"  I replied grabbing a box of cearel from out of the cupboard.

"Did you sleep well Bree?" Dad asks without moving an eye off the T.V.
"I slept fine dad" I answer reaching for the milk in the fridge.
I make my breakfast and sit at the table to eat.
I hear the doorbell ring.
"I'll get it!" I say getting up. I run to the door and open it.
Zac stood there, white button up, blue jeans, his black hair gelled up and a wide grin on his face. "Come in!" I smiled.
"Hope you don't mind..." he smiled. I stood there confused. I looked, he had something behind his back.
"Uh,oh!" I giggled. Zac knows I don't like when he gets me gifts.
"Close your eyes" he commanded. I obeyed and covered my eyes with my hands.

"Now open!" He said. I opened my eyes and there was a boquet of flowers and a box of chocolates in his hands. "Happy Valentines Day!" He smiled.
