Olivia went back to work and started her shift a few minutes early. Her manager asked her what was happening, and Olivia just told her that it was follow up questions about something she saw in Pittsburgh. The manager said nothing else, because she knew that something else had happened, but it wasn't her business.
Olivia continued to be as nice and polite as possible to those that came up and checked out at her cash register, but it was hard when she started to think about what Elliot might say when she got back to the hotel. Or if he'd even be at the hotel. He might've just taken his stuff and ran.
"You can take your lunch now, Olivia." The manager spoke, and Olivia nodded.
"Okay." She breathed. She turned around and grabbed her purse before walking out from behind the counter. She headed to the front door and opened it for an older man, before walking out and heading towards the curb. She sank down onto it and just sat there. She didn't want to face the loneliness that might face her when she heads back to the hotel.

At about 4, Olivia walked back to the hotel. She started to walk towards their room, and when she was unlocking it, Elliot opened it from the inside.
"Elliot." She whispered, and he bit his lip before stepping back and letting her into the room.
"You weren't here when I got up." He spoke, and she nodded.
"I know. I went to work early. I want to take some extra hours if possible so that we can get out of here sooner. Or so you can get out of here sooner." Olivia whispered. She took her purse off before sitting it down next to the bed. She sank down onto it and slipped her hightops off before looking up at Elliot.
"Why would you call the detective?" He asked her.
"I don't know." She breathed.
"You know that they can track your phone signal, dipshit." He spat, and Olivia felt tears well in her eyes again.
She was the hard one before, toughened by the abuse. But now Elliot was the one hardened by the abuse, and by the trip they made to where they are now.
"They tracked us here..." She trailed off, and Elliot walked over to her and grabbed her roughly by her shoulders.
"What? We need to go now!" He spat, and she shook her head.
"No, they talked to me this morning and they already left. Detective Biggs is just letting us stay here. He knows that it is better for us to stay here together, than go home. I'm sorry." Olivia spoke, and Elliot shook his head.
"They are going to come back and get us. You just ruined my life, Olivia Benson. I don't even know why I thought I might be falling in love with you." Elliot huffed. He leaned down and picked up her purse, found her wallet, and then turned to gather his items.
He had decided to leave, and she knew that she might as well head back to Manhattan somehow. She wanted to die because she had hurt Elliot.
"Detective Biggs gave me a gift card. He wants me to send it to him in an unmarked envelop. He said that if I don't by the end of the year, he'll find us."
"What?" Elliot asked, and Olivia bit her lip.
"They aren't going to come after us, Elliot. I know they aren't. I wish you'd trust me." She whimpered.
"Liv-"
"You hate me."
"I-i'm sorry." He struggled to speak.
"What?"
"I'm sorry that I've been an asshole. That I've been saying some shitty things to you. I've been scared."
"You could've just told me that you were scared."
"Liv, I'm like my Dad. I'm mean when I'm angry and sad." He whispered.
"People can change. You need to get to work."
"Did you hear what I said?" Elliot asked, and Olivia stared blankly at him.
"No, I didn't..."
"I said I might be falling in love with you." He spoke, and Olivia got completely freaked out by that.
"Oh, cool. Uh, I'm going to shower before trying to get some sleep. Have a good night at work." She breathed, before quickly grabbing one of her bags and running into the bathroom.
She shut the door and locked it before taking a shaky breath.
No one has said that they loved her. And now a boy she just reconnected with and ran away with said it to her.

Elliot was cleaning a table off and the kitchen staff was cleaning up for the night, when he heard his name spoken. He knew it wasn't Olivia's voice because it came from a man. Elliot turned around and saw a man in dress clothes and he frowned.
"Detective Biggs?" Elliot asked, and the man nodded.
"Yeah, that's me. How did you know?" Biggs questioned.
"Olivia told me. She said that you went back to Pittsburgh. But you didn't." Elliot huffed.
"Elliot, I just need you to tell me what your father does to you. We are going to record it and then I'm gone. Me and my partner are gone." Biggs replied.
"No. I'm not going too. You promised Olivia that you'd leave. We got into a fight over you, and I almost left her behind here to fend for herself. So get." Elliot spat. Detective Biggs stared at Elliot for a moment.
"Give us the information, please. Or else I may have to take you back to Pittsburgh with us." He replied, and he noticed as Elliot tensed up. Elliot sat the plates in his black tub before turning around and pointing at an already clean table.
"Sit. I'm not going to talk to you for no longer than 5 minutes. Got it?" Elliot huffed, and Detective Biggs nodded.
"Of course. Just take it from when it started. We are going to tell our bosses that we put you into protective custody, so they won't come looking for you and your girlfriend."
"She's just my friend." Elliot replied, blushing a bit.
"Okay. Sorry. Just, what started this all."
"My mom got sent to the loony bin for her bipolar mania. My dad blammed it on me and started to beat me. He just continued to beat me no matter what I did, bad or good. My grades and not making any sports team were big issues."
