It all started off when a little girl first was sitting at the dining room table in peace, eating breakfast. She sat there calm, reading the book that her grandma gave her...the book that will guide her whole life with truths from the man upstairs, the King she serves. There were pictures in there and highlighted words that caught her eyes with verses that encouraged her everyday. Then there were historical events that influenced her today.

She would never forget that verse that she ever first memorized: "The joy of the Lord is my strength." (Neh. 8:10). Her nanny would have her say that passage every time she visited her to make sure she remembered it. Not until later, she realized how powerful those words are. Then the next verse, "We are more than conquerors." And, "Fear not, for I am with you..." then finally, "Be strong and courageous." More and more passages became clear and was understood every time that book was opened.

"Kalia, honey..." a voice echoed in the dining room. Kalia looked up to her mother and stopped reading.

"Yes mother?" Her small voice said in concern. Her mom walked closer and placed her hand on her daughter's back then sat down.

"Your dad and I are thinking of going on that mission. I know it's dangerous, but our King suggests that we should trust Him and go out there with courage." Her mom, Mrs. Palace said. She then got up and took a deep breath, nervous for the reaction and the trip itself.

Kalia shrugged and nodded. "It's alright mom. I know you'll both be protected. I just want to go badly." Kalia spoke and looked down.

Her mom bit her lip, slightly frustrated at the stubbornness her and her husband passed on to their daughter. "My sweet, little Palace. Listen, they will not let a petite 13 year old girl in a country that...that will-will do very bad things to those who are on a mission there."

Kalia got up from her chair so sudden. "Um mom I know that it would be dangerous for me to go. I've heard the stories of what they'll do to us if we're caught, but I know anything is possible because the King has chosen us to be His warriors," she sat back down took a deep breath and saw the shock on her mother's face. "Sorry, I didn't mean to snap at you. I will obey, I just feel so ready for something and I know I'm too small but it doesn't matter what age you are. It's never too late and never too early, right?"

With the daughter's big brown eyes fixed on her mom, Mrs. Palace opened her mouth to answer. "You're actually right-" then someone else echoed through the hall, interrupting her.

"You are a sweet fighter, warrior princess right here. And all us fighters need our trainings. The King knows what's best for us and when we are ready for a specific mission," Kalia's dad said, he walked into the doorway and smiled at his two girls at the table. "You are brave, Kalia. Be patient."

Then it hit Kalia. This was the moment she realized what her next step needs to be. She's already prepared mentally with all the reading she's been doing. Now she must prepare physically.

Kalia nodded. "Yes I know. Did the King tell you to tell me that? Because those words is what I needed to hear." Little Palace said and smiled.

Her parents laughed together. "Sure, you could say that!" Mr. Palace pronounced.

The next morning, before dawn was when her parents had to leave. Kalia woke up when she heard the horses. She ran down the stairs and bursted through the front doors.

She waved with all her might as her parents looked back at her on their ride. Mrs. Palace blew her a kiss as a tear rolled down her face. Her father waved at Kalia with a loving smile.

"Alright my King. What do you want me to do? Please, what's next." Kalia whispered as she watched her parents gallop far away.

She looked up to the sky as she felt her heart yearn for the stars. Magnificent shooting stars began to dance around the sky. Kalia felt as if she was dreaming.

A big hand was then placed on Kalia's shoulder. "You will find strength in Me." Said a peaceful whisper.

Kalia turned slowly to see. "Majesty?" A bright light was beaming in front of her eyes. She could only see His figure but she knew deep down it was Him.

"Okay, show me the way." She answered the King and took his hand.
